I want to go to the IMAX midnight show very badly. Maybe I can convince the one I'm dating to go with me...that is if he is willing to stay up that late for me haha.
It's no fun going alone to these things...
I'll definitely be buying this on Blu-Ray...I know it'll be an incredible movie and Ellen Page is in it, so that's confirmation for me to buy it.

What makes me very excited about this is that not only does the trailer look incredible, but the cast. Ellen Page and Leonardo DiCaprio are pretty selective on their scripts and I've loved every movie both of them have ever done. I'm very excited for this movie.
Christopher Nolan is amazing too.

Isn't this a Blu-ray forum? This movie has yet to be released to theaters, let alone get a BR release date.

We already have a November release date for Toy Story 3 and that just came out in mid June.

Seeing as they're only a month apart, a December release date for Inception is possible.

Wouldn't be December 7th? It seems "Inception" would be on the same time line as "The Dark Knight" in 2008. I imagine that the release would occur around this time.

Yeah, it would be December 7th if it came out on a Tuesday. There's no question Inception will come out around that time, because it's definitely coming before Christmas, and usually the first couple weeks are packed with summer hits.

..I'm right there with you. Well, almost anyway. It's a very close 2nd for me behind The Thin Red Line. I wish Nolan would have shot some scenes in IMAX.

The early Inception reviews and word of mouth have me dying to see this thing.

It is certainly highly likely it will receive a pre-Christmas release (just like most Summer blockbusters). I would bet the date is not too far off, exactly as fatediesel said, first few weeks in December is a great guess.

Can't wait to check this out!

Default Inception - December 7?

Although I can't disclose where I got my information from, Inception has a very high chance of being released on December 7.

And when I did some research, it makes the most sense, considering WB has released their major releases on the same weekend in theaters and that Tuesday on home video for the past two years, too.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Theater Release: July 18
Blu-Ray: December 9

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Theater Release: July 15
Blu-Ray: December 8

Inception (2010)
Theater Release: July 16
Blu-Ray: December 7

But anyhow, from the information I received and this research, this date seems likely. Again, no confirmations, so don't kill me if it turns out to be wrong!
