It is true that too many people go by reviews though.
Harry Potter is the best example to meet what you are talking about. I am not happy with the movie versions of the books, but never bothered to actually listen to critics. Still although I didn't approve of the movie versions I was still satisfied with them.

I did too. Maybe somebody could have played Duke better, but the whole major cast is signed for a sequel. Replacing him is highly unlikely. Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols...

I don't ever recall the cartoon being serious.

I won't know if it's a bad movie until I see it with my own eyes.

Default G.I. JOE 2 May Shoot in Spring 2011 and Hit Theaters in Summer 2012

Quote:
G.I. Joe 2 is aiming for to begin shooting in spring 2011 and possibly hit theaters in summer 2012. In an interview with MTV, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura said that Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are still at work on the script so while there’s nothing final, the current thinking is to try to shoot next spring and get the film into theaters the summer of 2012. However, di Bonaventura remained cagey about which characters from the original film would return, and “It would make life a little easier to have a few less life a little easier to have a few less.” As for whether the film will be in 3D, the producer said he’d be open to it but the decision rests with Paramount and the yet-to-be-named director would also have a big say in it.

I only recently caught G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra on DVD but I thought it was a fun flick. It was the film equivalent of a kid playing with action figures and playsets, which is perfect seeing as that’s the origin of the whole property.
I Like the Way You Move!

"This is the story of the GreenScar, The Eye Of Anger, The World Breaker, Harkanon, Haarg, Holku, HULK, and how he finally came home." May the Sakaarson show mercy on your soul!

Whenever the sequel comes out, I'll be happy. Summer 2012 is going to be loaded with comic book movies if this does indeed come out then.

I don't think there's many characters they could really cut even if they wanted to. *Prays one of those isn't Scarlett*

Btw, the person's description of the original was pretty accurate.

That's why I enjoyed these movies. I don't over-analyze or expect too much... I just enjoy it for what it is... a fun action packed movie.

My only problem was Tatum, but he works well with Wayans so that helps the situation for me. They play off each other very well. Tatum still sucks, but it works. Wayans/Nichols are a great couple I can't wait to see how it unfolds. She is one hot redhead.

I can't wait for the sequel.
