Subtitled of course, I can't stand dubbed movies. I always prefer the original language.

Keep in mind that they are supposedly TV movies and very inferior to the first.

I know they're not supposed to be as good as the first, but I still would like to see them. I hadn't heard they were TV movies though....

I recently saw a screener dvd of this film and have to say I was a bit disappointed. So much subtext in the book has been eliminated with certain characters that it's hard to understand some of the relationships that are going on. I was glad that I recently read the book because this adaption has a sort of glossed-over feel to it. Still entertaining but not quite up to par with Dragon. Wish they had shot it wide, though. Framing feels a bit cramped with the 1:85 choice. Just my thoughts

Just saw FIRE in the theater; if that's made for TV, I'm moving to Sweden!

One thing the BD will improve (if it's like TATTOO) is subtitle legibility. A lot of lines dropped out against bright backgrounds in the theater.

Definitely better than MANSQUITO (although that may be the best title ever).

I loved the look of the first one, but I'm definitely in for all 3 at this point.

I concur.

The only reason it annoys me is because you miss half the visuals of the movie. A lot of the scenes are gorgeous or provide backstory but you're stuck staring at the bottom reading.

I saw this in theaters a bit back. It was great. Couldn't believe it was a made for tv movie. I went in hoping for made-for-HBO quality, but it's even better.

3rd one I've heard is going to be in theaters in October. I'll be buying this one and going to see The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest in the same month. Awesome.

"The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest" is fantastic! It's one of the best courtroom dramas I've ever seen. I'm a little bummed there won't be anymore books or films.

Sweet can't wait, all 3 of the movies are out on Blu-Ray in Canada but they're under the Title "Millenium" and they're French only

Well according to various news articles, the Millenium series was to be 10 books long, and Stieg was halfway through the 4th before he died. His lifelong partner Eva was supposedly involved in the writing process, and she has access to the work he did on the 4th, as well as possibly notes for the 5th and 6th. There is all kinds of legal trouble concerning who owns the rights to the late-authors work, so it might not see the light of day for awhile - but the possibility exists at least.

I once downloaded a subbed copy of Dragon Tattoo. Then I saw it dubbed on Blu-Ray. Thought I'd give it a chance. Not a bad dub. Next view I give it will once again be with subs. I'll
