Default 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea?

Does anyone here know if 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Around the World in 80 Days are coming to Blu-ray?

I would love to get these!

Can you imagine what 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (The Disney Version . . 1954) will look like and sound like in HD!!!!

I assume you are referring to the James Mason/Pat Boone version of Journey to the Center of the Earth. My answer is "yes". 20,000 leagues too, yes. And of course, Around the World in 80 days". All excellent films. I would like to add "Swiss Family Robinson", another excellent Disney film. I would most certainly add these four movies to my collection.

And I have fond memories of In Search of the Castaways. Sure hope Disney start looking into their live-action features for Blu-Ray release.

Thumbs up Me Too!

I am with all of you on wanting every one of the titles mentioned earlier! I would add:

The Time Machine (1960)

This George Pal classic was on HD net a few years ago in a fantastic HD transfer, with proper framing, sharp as a tack and gorgeous color!

Would love The Time Machine and 20,000.

Two of the best sci fi films of that era. Maybe the two best of that era.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, In Search of the Castaways, Around the World in 80 Days, Swiss Family Robinson, The Time Machine (and Pal's version of War of the Worlds)...all of them would be good purchases.

Lots of 50/60s adventure and sci-fi films would be great to own. At least Forbidden Planet is coming in just under 2 weeks!

Forbidden Planet....... There goes another twenty bucks sometime in the near future.

One of the best sci-fi movies ever.

An old thread... but a good one. With a greater number of classic movies being restored and brough to Blu-Ray our chances are getting better that we will probably see these sooner... rather than later.

Have to add my vote to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. One of my all time favorite movies and books. I have a replica of the Nautilus proudly displayed in the family room.
