Definitely the best release of this movie imo. No watermark, absolutely solid audio, and the PQ is slightly improved from the HK version.

The movie also uses the same color scheme as the HK version and not the French version.

Also wanted to mention that the subtitles are contained entirely in the image frame.

Watermark? Did other releases have a watermark through the whole film? wow I've never heard of a film that has that. Pretty crazy.

I've seen this in stores and have actually thought about picking it up. Whats it about?

WANTED: WWF/E Magazine and WWF/E Raw Magazine. 2002 and 2003.

The HK version was by Mei Ah and a watermark came up every 15 mins or so in the top corner. It was annoying.

You can see what it is all about in the UK review: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/An-Emp...y/2748/#Review

I decided to finally get this version when DVDCrave dropped the price to around 22 USD shipped.

Sounds like they used some kind of screener print then.

BTW, sorry I linked to the UK release. The HK version didn't get reviewed. It wasn't a screener print. Mei Ah had many of its earlier releases watermarked because they had piracy fears. They later did away with the policy.

i bought this movie almost a month ago for 14.99 at Best Buy, it supposedly exclusive at Best Buy, among others was kill zone, the black scorpion, the invincible target, the legend of fong sai yuk, all for 14.99 ea at that time. I did enjoy the movie, i thought the PQ/AQ was excellent imo
