Guys, Sony just delivered their new NX810 to my store for our shoot-out. This is simply the most stunning TV design you have ever imagined. Designers will love this model.

Sony's LCD product manager with a senior engineer are flying in from Sony's San Diego headquarters to present this beauty at our event.

I don't think it's in stores yet so take a look at this beautiful monolithic design.

Don't miss the live webcast.

A scientist/engineer/inventor who is one of the early developers of plasma technology will be one of our presenters. Joel Silver is a special guest speaker on SKYPE and Kevin Miller, well respected industry consultant, ISF trainer and co-owner of TweekTV.com is our key note speaker. Sony's product manager for LCD TV and his senior video engineer are also presenting their new NX810.

Hope to speak with you on our moderated webcast.

Best,

-Robert

This is great, can't wait to watch it on web! That Sony TV looks like my LX-900 Bravia, I can buy that same stand for it here in Japan. It's identical!

By the way, one thing I would love you to check at this event is if other companies 3D shutter glasses work on different model TV's.
For instance, I was in an electronic store and the Panasonic 3D display was setup next to the Sony. I looked through the Panasonic shutter glasses at the Sony TV and they seemed to work! Can you test this and confirm at this event? And if they do work, ask the reps why?!

I'm also curious if they could post instructions on how to calibrate each TV to get the best results and picture quality from it.

Please tune into the live webcast on Saturday, 9/11/10 at 7 PM EST and again on Sunday, 9/12/10 at 3 PM EST.

Sorry, but I promised not to discuss the agenda in advance of the event. All of this will be discussed and much much more. Also, the event will be moderated so the viewers can ask questions and many will be passed on to our panel of experts.

Best,

-Robert

Was there really any doubt that the VT25 would NOT take the top honors?

I think someone is a little smug about the set he has. I felt the same way with last years shootout with my 500M (and now my 101).

Yea, I knew even owning the Sony that the Panasonic would win. I came so close to buying one, but it had no 2D to 3D and when I saw them in the store at times the shutter glasses flickered during 3D which made me back away. "Could have been just the stores demos but happened on a few" So I bought the Sony. Sony LCD did pretty good and came in second I believe with the LG "was mixed results on both" You can watch the videos recorded on the site. Was a pretty good shoot out

ya iam not so concerned with the 3d as i am with 2d. with very little 3d content i will be using this tv for blu ray 2d movies most of the time. it has a super killer picture in 2d so i am very pleased.

3d movies will just be a treat for me and my family. i will still use my pio elite bd player for most of my movies and use the panny bd player for 3d movies.

overall i am very happy i bought the panny over the sammy. the one thing i realy liked believe it or not was the frame around the panel of the sammy. it had a titanium like border finish on it which had no reflection and looked fantastic.
