My contact at Best Buy informed me that these Iron Packs have arrived, and will be available when you preorder "Beauty And The Beast" beginning September 5th.

I tend not to put the discs in the Steelbooks or Ironpacks, but I love getting them.

Simple but pretty art design, I like how the main characters are the focus of it and the castle staff are all below them.

Awesome... I thought the days of empty cases with preorder was over with... This ensures the $10 coupon will work towards it... Can't beat $13-$16 for a Disney collectible edition...

The only other title that should come out the same way is Toy Story 3... Both were listed as a presell on bb.com but were removed for some reason...

You forgot Prince of Persia. Since those 3 are the newish movies being released they should have preorders. Now we can only hope a Fantasia Steelie is coming out also.

Prince of Persia comes out in 2 weeks... If they were doing an empty case preorder it would have been in stores 2 weeks ago... Looks like Persia will have the discs inside the case which means it will be a 50/50 as to whether they will take the coupon for it...

I skimped out on Up and Snow White...I won't do it again. Then again I never purchased Snow White anyway...and I tried to see if there were extra Ups but it was already too late by the time I got it.

Aww I wished BB delivered abroad, I'll have to find some way of getting hold of it to go with my Disney steels. Maybe some lovely forum members will be putting them on the trading forum, or extortionate ebay it'll have to be! I like that they're doing the whole empty case thing though, because it means I can put my local releases into the case.

As a comment on the actual design though, I have to say I think this is the worst cover of the disney animated classics so far, probably worse than most of the pixar ones actually... I just think having those characters underneath looks a bit tacky, they just look like they're stuck on. it'd all look a bit classier/neater if it just had the oval image in the center. I don't mind it though, and the collector in me definitely wants it!

Given that it's just a 3-disc release it should be standard (ie, SW) thickness. Up and Monsters Inc were only jumbo steelbooks because they had 4 discs (including digital copies)

well boys, looks like Scanavo fell asleep on this one without expanding in North America and a secondary product snuck in. Blu-ray has a faster adaption rate here than Europe, however the population is larger(not sure if that was taken in account when they do sales figures) but NA has a large market it and it will be good for pricing and more promos for us here.

Whats that saying, You snooze, you lose!

better buy them older iron packs before the price balloons

I haven't seen any IronPack with more than 3 discs, so I honestly don't know how that one will work... Hopefully they keep it the same thickness and just make enough room for 3 discs and put the digital copy in a sleeve...
