Dave Mattews Live at Radio City: 2 versions/covers? - Blu-ray Forum

I picked this up today at Best Buy and noticed at two separate locations, the cover/BD seems to be different from every photo online, even on the review for this site.

I picked this up today:

And all I see online is this:

Can anyone who owns this confirm what type of cover they have? Was there ever a retail release with a white border or is it just a stock photo?

I have it and have never seen a copy with the white border. I bought mine a year ago though. But I'm pretty sure in Best Buy yesterday I saw it and it was black border. Great pickup btw, one of my most-played discs. But I love Dave.

One of my very first BDs and to this day I still think it is one of the best in AQ and PQ. My copy has the black border btw.

How long ago did you get your copy? I realize it's now about three years old and wondering if there was a cover change recently.

Thank you ManUtd. I have extreme OCD when it comes to collecting BDs. I only want to get the original version/cover. I hate cover changes during the life of the BD.

This and the Eminem live from NYC are the 2nd and 3rd concert BDs I own now. I picked up Paramore last year and it blew me away. Hearing HD audio in a home theater is a totally different experience from an mp3.

Paramore was my 3rd concert BD, very good and I love it. D&T was my first and The Killers was my second. I HIGHLY recommend The Killers at Royal Albert Hall. It is just stunning, gorgeous, looks amazing, sounds amazing.

I skipped on that one yesterday. I like their music but was never a fan who bought the albums. I'd like to grab it but it seems it's still full price, $20 everywhere. I think Gbox has the right idea about waiting for a sale, but is it a rare disc? The reviewer here stated it was hard to find.

Well at least not for me, I see it at every retail store I go to, so I think I'm good

I agree. This was my first BD concert and remains my benchmark to gauge all others.

IMO the PQ is 5/5 but audio is just 4/5. The instruments aren't as clear as Dave Matthews' concert for example. Still very enjoyable, I've watched mine countless times.

Sony used to give that disc away with the purchase of a Blu-ray player. Maybe one of those was a free be.

Only one person on multiple forums stated he has a white cover, that they purchased it on release day.

I contacted most of the eBay stores who sell it and all confirmed it has a black cover. All but one person here and on another BD forum stated they have the black version.

not sure why there are two different color borders or if it makes a difference.

Well, I'm super OCD with BDs I collect. I noticed every single image online shows the white cover when searching for the BD but stores only carry the black cover. I assumed it was a stock photo but one member here stated he has the white cover.
