Default Who else is into concert Blu-rays?

I love concert Blu's and actually watch them even more than I do movies. I currently have 32 titles in my collection and am always looking to add new ones. Most of the members collections I check out include few, if any music titles.

Who else collects them? I am anxious to see your collections of concert Blu's.

I've been a little lax in buying more lately, but I love Concert BD's.

Thanks for the link. I don't recall seeing that thread before. That'll give me some reading for tonight.

I see you have many of the same ones I have. I have been wanting a B.B. King disc for awhile. Which one do you prefer? Which would you say has better sound quality?

To me Concerts are about how they get me involded with the music. Sometimes one could have better sonics, but the performance of the other captures my emotion better, and that is what I look for. As such, I'm loathe to choose at times.

The David Gilmour Blu-ray has received some knocks about its picture quality, but it remains one of my most cherished discs.

I personally prefer the Montreux BD, but if you're true BB King fan the other is a must have.

I actually watched my first one in the new room last night (Police: Certifiable) it was f'in fantastic and made more so by the giant screen and audio level. I have watched them on my old setup before but compared to the new one it's night and day.

Another great one! Do you find the bass to be a little hot? I think it is a bit on the hot side myself. I have seen many others on the various forums I am a member of say the same thing. I usually turn my sub down 3-5 db's when viewing the Police Certifiable. This is great music that brings back memories of my youth.

I normally run my sub about 3-5 db's hot myself for most material. But there are some exceptions where I run it pretty much level matched to my other speakers (the Police being one of those exceptions). Nevertheless, this disc rocks!

The low E in the bass (Octivator pedal) at the end of Walking on the Moon is awesome.

I have a number of concert blu-ray titles but I won't even call it near comprehensive. Concert blu-rays are generally essential to my collection because of their replay value.
