Picked this up a couple of weeks ago. I had the chance to sample a couple of tracks yesterday and was pretty impressed with the A/V quality. Strong low end which I like. Looking forward to watching all of it when I have the house to myself. This one needs to be LOUD.

It would appear to be the Farewell I tour. Hell Freezes Over would be a great blu-ray audio release too, but word is that concert only has low definition video in an unpopular aspect ratio.

Any news on a UK release for this or if it is all region??

I'm so excited about the live version of Damage Inc on that disc.

It's a great version.

Awesome PQ - yes, but very average SQ. Do not listen to, say a Porcupine Tree concert film, before this one. It will make this one sound like a mono recording from the 50's or something...

Holy hell! Cheers to a fellow PT fan! And yes they do have the best sound I've ever heard - live or mixed for a concert film - Steven Wilson is the man!

What happened to The Doobie Brothers Live at Wolf Trap Blu-ray? It's been delayed twice but this time there is no new date. I looked on Google but can't find a reason.

Usually if it's delayed it's most likely a pressing issue i'd imagine.

Surprised nobody has mentioned it but the new Michael Schenker Temple of Rock Live Blu Ray is a great concert disc. Michaels playing is in top form & the audio & video are both very good. Song selection is also great with tracks from MSG, UFO & The Scorpions all thrown in.

His band includes the rhythm section from The Scorpions & is pretty tight. The only complaint I have is that the singer he chose isn't that great. The editing isn't jumpy like most new live shows & there are plenty of long shots of Michael playing his solos. There are bonus features that include 5 or 6 songs from a daylight outdoor show that has brother Rudolph playing with him. I picked up the deluxe edition which includes cd's of the show but there is a standalone Blu Ray as well. This one's getting a lot of play at my house right now.

Deluxe Edition is here:

Picked this one up yesterday:

My wife and I both enjoyed it a lot. Excellent AQ/PQ and a very unique performance. Great musicianship using several instruments I've never seen before. Joe Bonamassa is becoming one of my favorite (living) guitar players and his acoustic playing abilities didn't disappoint.
