Yes any title priced at $29.95 or more should count as a commitment title; a few $24.95 titles have counted too, including some diamond editions like Lady and the Tramp and Cinderella (currently). Pocahontas does too, I believe.

If the person who traded me their extra Pinocchio recently visits this thread, can you send me a pm so I can leave you feedback on our trade?
Do you really have something to say or are you just in love with the sound of your keyboard?

Just got my opening titles in today. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the time it took. I think it only took 10 days from the day I signed up, and now I have my titles. Everyone came with a slip except one, and all slips were in great condition. I received the following BDs:
A Bug's Life Princess and the Frog Up Ratatouille Dumbo Wall-E Alice in Wonderland (Burton) without a slip. However, I also recieved two Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVDs that I did not order. Both movies were not on my receipt, and I can not find any record of me buying them( I didn't try to anyways). But can anyone else confirm if this was a freebie, or should I make sure? |

You could call, though they'll just tell you to return the movies. If you don't want them, just return them. Maybe they're trying to get you hooked on getting other MMC DVD's.
I just did a new order for Whisper of the Heart and Castle In The Sky, both at half price (plus shipping). So while I have movies in multiple orders, ultimately, I'll have gotten two Ghibli movies in my enrollment order and the other three all (Secret World of Arrietty being the third) at half price, $15. That's a pretty good deal if I say so myself. This is my 5th enrollment. I'll stay at least through Pocahontas. However, I'm not really interested in all the other Disney cartoons that are now just coming to BD. They weren't what I consider classics. And I have Cinderella already preordered on Amazon for $8 off, so $22 in all with free shipping, so once I fulfill my current commitment, I may cancel and reup when the cartoons coming to BD now ultimately become enrollment options. I may not be interested in them at $25 or $30, but at $0.20 I am. The only animated movie in the enrollment options I don't have is Cars 2 and that's because I didn't like it. It was no Cars 1. Back when I did my first membership, I never imagined I'd do 4 more. As far as collecting goes, this club is a great deal! On a separate note, anyone else get Ponyo without a sleeve? I thought it came with one? But mine didn't. :-( Last edited by worldchmps; 06-12-2012 at 07:33 AM. |

I just called to inquire about 2 titles I was interested in, Monsters Inc and Beauty and the Beast. Unfortunately they are both not available right now.
Monster's Inc wikipedia page states it will be released in January 2013 as part of promo for the new Monster's Univ. film, but didn't give any sources. Anyone else have info corroborating this release date (presumably with a $40 3D version and $30 regular bluray set)? Also, wasn't Beauty and the Beast available earlier this year? Does that mean it'll stay in the vault for a long time before it will be available again? In that case, I might as well buy something else, quit the club and re-enroll next year when Monsters comes out. |

I got confirmation on my order today... took about two weeks to get that email and thats after sending an email out around the 10 day mark questioning my enrollment. You don't know how many times I have heard "You think I'm a ignorant savage" in the past two weeks. Can't wait for my titles to actually arrive!

Positive that Beauty and the Beast was an enrollment title as well, as was the enchanted Christmas "sequel".

I wonder why DMC isn't putting a big push behind the fact that you can get Pocahontas a month early? Didn't they advertise that fact when The Fox and the Hound was a DMC exclusive for the first month?

B&tB is still fairly reasonable on AMZ too

Someone remind me where DMC ships from. I got my "order was shipped" email on the 6th and it's still not here. I know their processing/shipping/delivery overall time has the tendency to stink, but I don't recall it taking this long to get something once the shipping confirmation was received.
