Wow, excellent deal, many thanks for sharing! I'm not typically a fan of movie clubs, but this was a no-brainer! Picked up Wall-E, Ratatouille, A Bug's Life, Bolt, The Rock, National Treasure, and National Treasure 2.

While I am a member of eBates as well, you can get $15.00 cash back via Mr. Rebates. I've been a Mr. Rebates member since May and have had no trouble so far with any cash-back rebates. I'll soon find out if the $15.00 works as advertised.

Hope this helps!
Josh

Hey all

Just wanted to pass this along. The disney movie deal got better!

Two quick points:
Someone was complaining about there not being classic titles. You can order pinnochio, sleeping beauty, etc. and it counts as one of your "29.99 and up" titles towards your 2 title commitment.

The even greater thing? They are having a "buy one, get 1 50% off" promotion. So you can buy one of your 29.99 titles and get beauty and the beast for $12.48! The discounted one doesn't count towards your 2 title commitment, but for $12.48, I'll take it.

Sweet deal just got sweeter.

did you order the ones that always come with the covers at the stores? i was looking at like Monsters Inc, Bugs Life, etc.. I didn't expect the non-animated movies to come with the slipcovers because they usually dont in store, but the animated films always do and I was hoping they would if I order through them also

Not yet, Billy, but it's quite early yet...checked my account and it lists all my movies as "On Hold"

Looks like we're gonna get a "3D Card-WELCOME" shipped with it as well. Probably nothing big, just something they throw in there...
Fun Fact: I am the same height ( 5'1'') as Carrie Fisher, Jean Harlow, Holly Hunter, Christina Ricci, Ellen Page, Emilie De Ravin, Anna Kendrick, Kristen Bell...yes great things do come in small packages :)

Not sure, since I didn't accept or decline, but on the home page it says that Prince of Persia is their next featured title and it says that I've already responded to my featured title. That's kinda weird when I didn't accept or decline the movie either way. So, I dunno if they're gonna automatically ship that as part of the membership title or if I'll have a chance to decline it or not. Guess I'll wait and see

Yeah, I see the same thing. I'm also a little confused about finding titles that meet the $29.95 requirement as all of them are showing on sale for less than that. I guess I probably just need to be patient and wait for my confirmation email. Maybe they've gotten flooded with new members today because of this thread Gotta love blu-ray.com

I'm just holding off on signing up because I dont know if the animated movies that always come with slips in the store come with the slipcovers through the movie club also. I would think they would, but noone else has done this before to know?

I would think chances are better than most to get slips because 95% of the time in stores I go to, Disney movies that were released with slips, come with slips. Disney seems to have a plethora of slips generally. So it would follow to reason that Disney direct gets them with slips as well. But again, we will only know when we get them in our hot little hands!

ive seen comments that the bonus disk for 11.95 counts towards the 3 you have to purchase at regular price, does the 2nd bonus disc for 8.95 count towards that as well i wonder?

It says that I need 3 blu's to fulfill my commitment, I sure hope that's a mistake! I ordered the 7 and it said I need to buy 2 more when I signed up?!?!

Question if you buy the 7 and sign up does the movie library expand? Or the only things available after the 7 are the same movies you see now?

There's tons more available beyond the limited list eligible for the introductory discs. Someone who is already a member even mentioned that other classics are available.
