The Game Blu-ray

Confirmed by David Prior here:

If David Fincher can pull off the same picture quality of Se7en and Fight Club, we're in for a treat

The special features will probably mirror the Criterion LaserDisc / Universal Special Edition DVD. It's not massive package, but it's good.

Se7en and FC have great PQ but Zodiac is king in the land of visual. I'll probably get rid of my german import once this comes out.

The Australian Blu-ray will tide me over til then. I used to own the Criterion LD, so I don't really care about the extras unless they come up with some new ones, but man that transfer needs to be redone!

Ive yet to see this film. I love Fincher and Douglas so I think I will wait it out and blind buy.

I sure hope they can sit down with Michael D. if he's amenable/physically able before it's too late. As ya'll may know, he has throat cancer. My understanding is that a stage 4 diagnosis is very bad news. God speed on his recovery. Keep him in your thoughts amidst the BD excitement, gentlemen.

it's already out on blu in europe and its a crappy transfer. I think that's end of story right there.

Oddly enough I just showed this movie to my sister for the first time yesterday. Too bad it wasn't anamorphic, but hey, looks like I'll be able to get rid of that one soon!
