Steve Carell will drive Paul Rudd up a wall in Dinner For Schmucks, Paramount's summer comedy that has been officially announced for a Blu-ray Disc and DVD debut on January 4.

Co-starring Zach Galifianakis (Due Date, The Hangover), Jemaine Clement, Jeff Dunham, Bruce Greenwood, Ron Livingston, Lucy Punch, David Walliams, Larry Wilmore and Kristen Schaal, Dinner For Schmucks topped $85 million in box office receipts after its theatrical release in late July. It came up $4 million short of taking its opening weekend thanks to Christopher Nolan's Inception.

The Blu-ray version of Dinner For Schmucks (SRP $29.99) will receive a 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio treatment. Half the bonus features are exclusive to Blu-ray and those will be offered in HD.

Not to stop the "funniest movie..." comments rolling, but I honestly thought this was painfully unfunny. I love both actors, but this was probably their worst work yet.

it just makes me laugh how AGAIN the trade ad uses the "funniest comedy since the hangover" line!
like EVERY comedy since the hangover used this line
yes the hangover was funny, but they are acting as if it were the bible
of comedy films. then again, compared to some of those films using that advertising slogan, the hangover actually is the bible in comparison!

Well, I'd agree with that as far as Rudd goes. The disappointment for me is that Rudd was given the role Ben Stiller has to take for his paycheck movies - the straight man to everyone else. Anyone could've done it. Rudd is currently my favorite comedic actor and it was a shame to see him so wasted. I didn't think it was AWFUL or anything and I'll still probably pick it up when it starts seeing massive price drops.
