Default Prince of Egypt (Dreamworks, 1998) Coming to Blu?

I didn't see this on any of the Pre-order or Coming Soon forums, or anywhere else for that matter.

http://www.buy.com/prod/prince-of-eg...217457727.html

I'm a tad skeptical seeing its price point AND the fact it's a double feature AND its cover art. But it says Blu-Ray and is listed under the format.

Please be true.

EDIT: Link doesn't seem to be working - it redirects to the Blu-Ray home page. But cutting and pasting the above into the broaswer also does the trick.

Clearly misleading. It's actually a DVD - 2 movies in 1

Do yout think this Movie is ever going to be released on Bluray? it would certainly look freaking gorgeous.

Actually, Dreamworks has been really lazy with their catalogue titles, not just animated. Personally, I'd love to see this on BD along with El Dorado, Joseph, Sinbad and Spirit, but those ARE impossible I think.

This one is BY FAR my favorite non-Disney/Pixar animated movie, all these burping/farting/dancing animals full of pop culture parodies movies Dreamworks loves to make are getting really annoying, I only enjoyed 'How to train your dragon' (it is soooo different to their other stuff) and that's it. I hope those rumors of Dreamworks (and also Pixar) working on a tradicitional animation projects are true, maybe then we'll have the chance to see this marvel on BD, after 'Madagascar 7', 'Kung Fu Panda 6' and 'Shrek the Tenth: you know it wasn't over' of course! LOL

Since many biblical films are coming in bluray this period, I wish they'd release Prince of Egypt too!! It would be fantastic! provided that it gets the proper treatment for bluray.

I'm hoping Dreamworks will see the demand and get Prince of Egypt out on Bluray!

I stumbled across this petition doing a google search: Please Release Prince of Egypt on Bluray for all Languages

Sign the petition, spread the word, people!

PoE is still the best 10 commandment adaptation. far, far better than Heston version even.
Blu-Ray is so awesome! =)

Would buy this film.

Also from Dreamworks animation would like Road to El Dorado, Antz, and Spirit. All are very good and underrated films. I like them as much as most Disney/Pixar titles.

Well, it's getting better...it was 15 after I signed up!

This film really would look and sound amazing. I tried watching the DVD the other day - not a great experience. My TV is twice the size it was since I last viewed it - DVD certainly has its limitations!

It's about time DreamWorks releases some of their catalog titles. I definitely want this on Blu-ray, since I never had the DVD. I'd like Antz, Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit on Blu-ray too.
Blu-ray releases should be perfect representations of their cinema counterparts.
