I wonder, how do I go about getting a free replacement? I only watched it once (when I bought it), I wanted to see it again on Halloween and it refused to play on both PS3s I own (40GB MGS model, and 120GB Slim model). The disc itself is still in perfect condition, I have no idea why it wont play.

Strange, because BD's don't rot like laserdiscs!

I had a similar problem with my disc i watched it once then after a firmware update it would no longer play on my old Panasonic Blu-ray player.

I sold it on Amazon and had no complaints from the buyer,i then purchased the title again when i bought my new Pioneer machine and have had no more problems with it.

Its not a problem with the disc...it was the last firmware that was release by Sony, they have been countless reports of disc not playing after the firmware was installed.Sony is suppose to release an updated firmware to rectify the problem.

I had this same problem with The Devil's Rejects and Basic Instinct. The problem actually caused me to go out and get a new player.

Hmm, interesting. I, too, had a problem with The Devil's Rejects... then my PS3 wouldn't play ANY disc. I'm assuming it was just bad luck... but the comments here make me wonder... something. Not sure what, but I definitely wonder.

i have had the same problem with the devil's rejects and eyes wide shut. It has drove me crazy figuring out why. they'll play in my laptop but not my lg bd player.

Yes, Same here my AP did not work and I bought another at walmart and switched the disc and returned it and the clerk was new and just gave me my cash back.

This happend last year halloween.

I own basic insticnt as well but i have not played it in a while. I will check to make sure it works.
