Japan release, BUT Japan IS region A just like the US, so it's basically the same as being released in the US.
(except, of course, the price will be a bit higher)
should be easily available though, and probably won't be too much since it's Warner and not an anime title.

yeah exactly, the fact that this is Warner could mean it is likely coming to the US at around the same time anyway IF warner has the rights in the US.

as far as waiting a long time to get it--I mean you just place an order at yesaia or HKFlixx and it takes like a week.

I mean importing is just not that big a deal for a movie you really like imo.

Like Demolition Man both that and Cobra are coming out in various European countries around January and February. Since this is Warner the disc will be region free as well so Japan won't be the only option. That said I would expect a US release later this year.

A US release can't be too far off if this is coming out in Japan. Can't wait. Though I'm expecting the disc to be totally devoid of extras.

Agreed, I'm sure it will be out soon. Maybe it will be another Best Buy timed exclusive or something. Wonder if it will be a double feature when it comes out in America... these two titles have been paired up as a double feature on DVD.

actuaklly i think it was demoltion and over the top that was on the double feature. how over the top got a bluray release before cobra or DM is beyond me (not that i dont like OTT though lol).

I just bought Cobra from Amazon.co.jp and it came out to $41.50 so I'm only buying Cobra & not Demolition Man. I want both, but it's a lot to pay for two movies. I like Cobra better than Demo Man anyway.
