The Perfect Game Blu-ray Review

Hey all,

So i remember this movie coming out back in April i brlieve in theatre. I have not seen or can find anything relative to this being released on dvd/blu. I was hoping it would be released by now so i could get it as a gift for my dad. I was also hoping to see it as it has cheech marlin in it.

Anyone have any input? Was the movie any good?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I have waited for this movie for years. It never reached the German theaters, so this will be a blind buy. Not for the current price though ($27).

for another thing, they die earlier."

For anyone interested, I watched the movie tonight with some family. It was a pretty decent movie. Right around where I was expecting it to be. It wasn't better than most of the other sports movies, especially the Disney ones, or even Radio. The picture quality was great, didn't really see any flaws. I'm not one to provide of a much detailed review nor do i really know how to write a good review, but overall I really enjoyed it.

The story is about a little league team that is formed by a group of boys from Mexico and is coached by a former towel boy from the Cardinals. It includes some actual footage during the movie which was pretty cool, and also does the ending where it shows the actual people and tells you what they are doing now (or when it was made). During the movie, there were some parts that reminded me of "Miracle".

I got the movie for $15, and after watching it, I think it was a good price to pay. I probably wouldn't go over the $15 price point for it. If your looking at a blind buy, i would suggest it if you like sports movies. If not, i would suggest a rental. For me, i blind bought it. I would for sure watch again.
