interesting conversation lol. im currently looking to upgrade my 37in toshiba regza lcd tv. was thinking of sticking with an lcd as thats obv what i have, but i want the best pq quality i can get for watching sports and blu ray movies. i thought plasma suffered from motion lag and ghosting when it comes to sports? is that true?
also you guys are saying plasma is best for 3d. what if im not interested really in all the 3d jazz right now. what would be the best tv for just high definition awesomeness, watching football, and playing my 360? im looking for a 50-55 inch if that matters as well. Is it football season yet?

Most movie watching is done at night with most lights out or possible some backlighting behind the tv. You think that lighting in the store compares to home enviroment? Sure it does.

I plan on buying a Panasonic ''55 inch VT60 or ''60 inch ST60 this year. I would buy a ZT60, but it's not getting released in Australia. Which is a stupid decision on Panasonic Australia part.

Pros: Panasonic black level, only thing he can say. then he finds out a few months later that the black level drops off to a lower point and still stay with his panasonic choise. Cons: Samsung, clearly beats the Panny in every cat that matters except for a free pair of glasses and as a new tv according the the bias editor, the black level, that by Pann own addmis drops off. Say nothing about the cost dif and 1 4th the thickness dif Summary: Editor is clearly Panansonic bias, the Samsung wins in EVERY Cat. that matters in the long run, unless you want the Panny for 3 months when the only condition for winning drops off. I can take nothing that this person says about any review serious anymore, he is so far ... Read more: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-t...#ixzz189DAdLXo |
