It was patched into Resistance 2, but I can't remember if trophies were unlocked for both players or not...it's been so long.

Even still, it should be fun. I used to love sitting with my friends playing splitscreen multiplayer games. What's better is now you can do so online!

Not in ranked (which probably answers the trophy question since I think all multiplayer trophies can only be obtained in ranked mode). I'm pretty foggy on the details too, I haven't played R2 splitscreen for a long time. The system works extremely well in LBP2 also.

In any case, it was a great addition to R2/LBP series and I'm so happy to see that U3 and R3 will be continuing on with that.

True. But, like I said, I knew they could be played together on one tv, just not with everyone having the ability to use their own PSN name/account.

Apparently the trucks do get close enough so you can jump to or from the plane.

So would the splitscreen multiplayer progress stay on an online server even if your friend doesn't own the game or do they have to for it to count?

Wow, you've missed out on some really great games! I have yet to start Brotherhood though because I haven't finished AC2.

TOO MANY GAMES! I love it but it's overwhelming sometimes!

Yeah, sounds like I might have to wait 'til 7/5 unless someone gives me a code too. If the early access beta was longer than 1 week, I might consider re-subscribing to PS+ for 3 months. As it is, $17.99 for 1 week is a little steep.
