I finally got my Alchemy and Enchanting up to 100 each, with 5/5 base skill points and the required skill tree requirements to max-out enchantments and potions. Going through the:
1) Make fortify enchanting potion 2) Drink potion and then enchant fortify alchemy gear 3) Rinse and repeat I maxed-out my fortify alchemy gear at +29% each for Falmer Helm, circlet, gloves, amulet and ring. FYI for those unaware, you can wear a Falmer helm and a circlet at the same time, which doubles the "head" bonus. Using that gear, I was able to max-out fortify enchanting potions to +37% and fortify smithing potions to +147%. I also made a set of fortify smithing gear at +29% each for armor, gloves, amulet and ring. From everything I've read, that's the strongest gear/potions you can make. Next, I need to use my smithing gear and potions to make some ultimate gear and then add appropriate max enchantments. I don't really need any of this, but I wanted to do it "because I can". Right now I'm working on increasing my Destruction Magic to 100. With my enchanting now maxed-out, I also made a 29% lower destruction magic cost ring and amulet. When these are equipped with my Master Robes of Destruction and the dragon mask that lowers destruction magica cost, I can now cast destruction spells for free!

Solid work Holmes. EDIT: Regarding the collection of soul gems to enchant everything. Don't forget you can [Show spoiler] . Doesn't yield much but it'll get you that much closer.

Is dragon armor not the best armor in the game? I just got my smithing to 100 and made some, it's got way better numbers than the Dark Brotherhood stuff I use now but nobody ever talks about it!
I'm talking light armor specifically.

I'm just psyched for Dragon Armor because that was my favorite armor in Dragon Age: Origins.

It's the strongest light armor. Daedric heavy armor is slightly better, plus it looks so much better than the Dragon armor, IMO. Personally, I really like my Nightingale armor, but ultimately I want something with magica reduction costs built-in. To get that, I need to enchant my own custom armor.

I don't like the look of dragon armor so I am still running with my maxed out glass armor. I am still mad that I went up the left side of smithing.
I am going to try the duplicate armor trick with the Nightingale armor to see if I can get an extra set to enchant with what I want.

I may be mistaken, but I don't believe you can add enchantments to the already enchanted Nightingale armor.

If the item is already enchanted you can't do any thing else to it.
I don't have any problem duplicating my armor in Solitude. I have been cashing in on a mask, glass armor, gauntlets and boots each time I walk in the door. Easy money. I just got the Nightingale armor so I plan on switching to that if I get the dupe trick to work. If not I will stick to my good old glass armor till next time

Maybe I'm doing it wrong. What are the steps to duplication again?

Remove armor from mannequin back to you inventory. Walk out of the house Enter house and mannequin should have set of armor waiting for you. You should only have to do this once and each time you return a new set will be waiting on you. I have only been able to get this to work with 1 set at a time. I use 1 manniquin for storing armor I have collected while playing and the other is only used for duplicating. My duplicating mannequin only contains armor, helmet, boots, and gauntlets. I have not been able to duplicate rings, necklaces, and other items like those. I did also try to fill the mannequin with armor to duplicate multiple things at once. Didn't work. You will also only get the generic version of what you duplicate, legendary does not carry over.

Well I tried to do the duplication glitch with the Nightingale armor. I got the items to duplicate but they still keep the old armor details. It must be because the armor is a quest item or something. Guess I will keep rocking my Legendary Glass Armor.

I double-enchanted all my gear to boost one-handed and archery damage along with sneak. My daedric bow is doing about 220 base damage now with soul trap. My daedric sword is doing about 210 damage along with 40 points of frost and fire damage. I'm thinking of switching to dual-wielding one-handed weapons once I unlock the related perks to maximize my dps. I may need to scrounge up some more daedra hearts so I can smith another weapon or two. I think I'm ready to embark on my dragon-priest hunting expedition now
