Initial impressions after about a half hour of playing.
1 The graphics are nice. I never played this before, so I can't compare it to anything. 2. It seems like Uncharted Lite, but fun nonetheless. And yes, I realize this came out before Uncharted. 3. The cameras on Legend are horrible! Beyond horrible. It's making me nauseaus as I try to move a crate around, and the ****ing camera keeps swinging around, and the character keeps sliding around in all different directions. Complete #fail where the camera is concerned, at least with Legend. Don't know if it was like that originally, but it's nearly unplayable for me due to this. |

Got this on Tues, rather impressed with the conversion. Legend looks like the 360 version, but with a better frame-rate, and Anniversary looks particularly sharp. Worth the money, if anyone was on the fence.
Currently playing: Ni No Kuni, Halo 4, Borderlands 2
Looking Forward to: Tomb Raider, Bioshock: Infinite, the Last of Us |

My brief opinion of the three games: Legend - Upon first playing the game, I thought it was the bee's knees. Now I think it's dumbed-down, ridiculously easy and overly repetitive. This was Crystal Dynamic's first Tomb Raider game and it shows. 5/10 Anniversary - Comparisons to the original aside, this is a pretty good game. It's more atmospheric than the previous game and some of the puzzles are brilliant. It's also quite a bit more challenging than Legend. 7/10 Underworld - This seems to be considered a step-down from Anniversary, but I think it's the best of the trilogy and the closest to emulating the sense of scope and wonder from the earlier titles. The Thailand and Mexico levels are fantastic. 9/10 UK BLU-RAY WISHLIST: Altered States - American Psycho - Assault on Precinct 13 ('76) - Boys Don't Cry - The Cable Guy - The Devils - Electric Dreams - Freaks
Fright Night ('85) - Hausu - Heathers - Hellbound: Hellraiser II - The Hills Have Eyes ('77) - The Keep - King Kong ('33) - The Last House on the Left ('72) A Matter of Life and Death - Nightbreed - The Room - Scum - Secretary - Serial Mom - Showgirls - Star Wars Unaltered Trilogy ('77-'83) - Tommy - Troll 2 |

I just picked this up and am trying to work my way thru Anniversary (and gather some trophies while I'm at it).
One of the trophies is "Complete all Super Actions w/out dying." Can someone tell me what a "Super Action" is? And is there a site that lists all of them somewhere?? |
