Probably german crap conversions, since there are so many titles ?
or this might be a hint that there are more pixar movies being re-rendered

Interview with Bob Whitehill - Stereoscopic Supervisor on Toy Story 3, also talking about conversion of Rattatouille
1 year old interview, maybe other newer ones on youtube

I was hoping that if they did the rest they would stagger them more.
I pre-sold my copy of Up since that1guy clued us in that it was coming.
Not sure I feel like re-buying the entire Pixar catalogue (as much as I love it).

But I probably will.
Now running in 3D with the LG Cinema 3D (nominally showing 3D in 1080i per eye) 47LW6500 (up-or-down-or-side-graded from a 50" Sammy 3D Plasma) and a Benq W1070 and a 100" screen, and controlling it with a Harmony 880.

I can't imagine Disney would allow these films to be subjected to the German Crap conversion process.

Holy Toledo - what a shock to see these. This will bring every Pixar theatrical release to Blu-Ray 3D, except Finding Nemo, right?

Plus individual 3D Blu-Ray steelbook editions for Toy Story 1-3 - I don't see one for Cars 2 yet.

Wonder if these will be exclusive to Germany and filter out to the rest of the world later..?

SUPERB news...BUT I'm 99% sure these will not see release in 2011! As much as I want all of them there's no way Disney would release so many titles all in one go!

And no Finding Nemo? Tut tut!

It looks like UP 3D is coming to Australia November 2nd:
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Up-3D-Blu-ray/29205/

- and just to keep this thread current - the German pixar steelbook listings at amazon.de have changed from "3D Blu-ray" to "Blu-ray".

Smile where is up??

The 1 guy told us ages ago now, that up was scheduled to come out with the various disney 3d releases and evrything that he spoke about has been true, however there is no sign of up! Up 3d was my first real 3d film and i love it , it would be day one purchase and so can the 1 guy respond and give me an update and anyone else that knows when its coming?

I am in the uk and await this with great anticipation. Can not wait to get Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. etc!

Unfortunately, he no longer works for Best Buy, so he's out of the loop for upcoming new releases.

I can confirm all the other announced Disney releases, as well as the Harry Potter 3D exclusives to Best Buy. However, I've scoured our systems and see no sign of Up. Perhaps next year, when they release Nemo? Disney seems to like to pair up catalog releases.
3DTV: Panasonic TC-P50VT20, Blu-ray Disc Player: Panasonic DMP-BDT300, DirecTV HR24, Xbox 360 120gb Elite, Sony STR-DG810 Receiver with Sony Satellite Speakers and Subwoofer

Disney unveils additional 3D re-releases
'Lion King' success spurs 3D theatrical stints for 'Nemo,' 'Mermaid,' 'Beast'

...Studio has dated the pics to bow over the next two years.

Up first, "Beauty and the Beast" unspools on Jan. 13, followed by "Finding Nemo" on Sept. 14. The 2013 pair, "Monsters, Inc." and "The Little Mermaid," will bow on Jan. 18 and June 21, respectively.

I am getting all but Chicken Little and G-Force. Gonna pick up Cars 2 at Best Buy probably. Pre-ordered the rest on amazon with the $10 off when you buy 2. I'm hoping the prices drop a little before release day cause $37 is a little high even with the $10 off.

Only the Toy Story movies and Cars 2 are released on Nov. 1. Meet the Robinsons, Bolt, G-Force, and Chicken Little are the following tuesday, Nov. 8.

I'll be picking up all of them except G-Force and Chicken Little personally...

ahh.. thanks for the correction.. hmm.. yeah those are the 2 I'm really hesitant
on purchasing right now.. hoping Disney will come through with some coupons
for all the titles.. even if it's just $5 (nice releases prices wouldn't hurt either)

I imagine Best Buy will have a discount offer for purchasing one of the Toy Story flicks with Cars 2 (similar to Lion King and Beauty and the Beast). Not sure if they'll do a similar deal with the Nov. 8 catalog titles though.
