Hatchet II, I Spit on Your Grave, etc...

Will titles such as Hatchet II and I Spit on Your Grave even be released in stores such as Best Buy and Fry's?

I can see stores not wanting to carry I Spit on Your Grave because they may get a lot of complaints from irritating parents regarding the cover art.

I'm just wondering because films that get the NC-17 rating (in this case unrated) usually aren't in all stores.

I want to get both, so if Hatchet II won't be sold in most stores I'll just pre-order it on Amazon for the $14.99 deal.

Anyone know for sure whether or not these will be sold at stores such as Best Buy and Fry's?

Wasn't Hatchet unrated? that was in Walmart.

Shouldn't be an issue. Both have carried unrated DVD/BD before.

Besides, order on Amazon if they don't have em. Personally I hate shopping at BB anymore.

it was, and I bought it at BEST BUY so they will most likely be available in stores...

If Hatchet II or I Spit on Your Grave aren't carried by Best Buy it won't be because of it's content, it will be because they don't deem it as big enough titles to carry in-store. Both Hatchet II and I Spit on Your Grave made almost no money, and Best Buy often doesn't carry media that isn't very popular, so they might choose to carry it online only.

Best Buy didn't even carry Let the Right One In for quite some time. Had to buy it online.

I tried calling Fry's (since going there usually fits more into my schedule than Best Buy since I always go to a friend's house to help with some stuff and he lives nearly 5 minutes away from Fry's) and they told me that they don't see either Hatchet II or I Spit on Your Grave in their system at all. Not for pre-order online, just nothing.

Looks like BB stores will have both. The prices aren't very good, however.

I'm seeing some good prices online for I Spit on Your Grave (Original and Remake) and Hatchet II, do you guys think they will be around these prices in stores?

I don't want to wait nearly a week to get them, but I don't want to pay a lot for shipping. Do you guys think that the prices will be the same or similar at Best Buy, Fry's, or somewhere?

I could defintetly see hatchet 2 being $15 at walmart on release. Not sure about I spit on the grave. My guess neither best buy nor walmart would have that.

Yea they had Hatchet and Frozen at Wal Mart so id imagine they will have Hatchet 2.

Walmart doesn't do in-store pickup. They do site-to-store instead which takes way too much time. Still believe atleast hatchet 2 will be that price in store.

In-store pick-up/site-to-store...same thing haha you know what I mean. Same concept.

I did it for a couple movies and it didn't take too long. Also, if it's pre-ordering it, I'm guessing that they'd have it for pick-up on release day.

I'll wait until closer to the release date and see what happens I guess.

I Spit on Your Grave is on Wal Mart's website for $15.

I know I purchased the first Hatchet on release day at Walmart for $15, so I'm guessing Hatchet II will be available release day as well. Because of I Spit on Your Grave's cover art I wouldn't be surprised if Walmart doesn't carry it in store.

Do you guys think that Fry's would sell I Spit on Your Grave? Anyways, the US poster art is already partly the censored version. The uncensored cover is the one used as the UK Blu-Ray cover. There's much more blood on the knife.

If not, I'll just pre-order it from amazon and buy Hatchet II at Wal-Mart and do the site-to-store.

i can see hatchet II dvd at walmart stores but i dunno about blu-ray since darksky is releasing it not anchor bay i have only seen a few darksky dvd titles at walmart and no blu-ray titles i dont think

also walmart usually gets all anchor bay titles dvds and most blu titles but i kinda doubt they will even carry i spit original and remake dvds and blu's but bestbuy is supposed to carry em all according to their website

This was the point I was gonna make. Unfortunately I doubt we are gonna find Hatchet 2 BD at Wally World because it's Dark Sky and not Anchor Bay this time. We may see the I Spit on Your Grave remake at Walmart but I doubt the original. Unfortunately us fans are looking at a movie hunt for these titles unless of course you buy then online.
