I am loving the cover of the German/Australian release, also featured in some other countries. I like the picture on the cover even more than the standard release.

I own the UK release which comes with a slipcover:

I'm thinking of importing the US DigiPak as it's quite cheap atm, mainly for the art cards.

Looking forward to watching this (it's in a long line of movies I still haven't watched) after buying yesterday as part of BB's buy one get one free. After reading this thread, I feel pretty confident it was a good choice for only $7.50!

Great film, great transfer, great packaging. Tell us your take on the ending once you watch.

Default Is "Taxi Driver" still being issued as a digibook?

I've always seen it as a digibook, so I went to purchase it on Amazon now that it's like $10 or less. Now it in the title it does not specify that it's a "digibook" or "blu-ray book." Does anyone know if it's been repackaged or Amazon just doesn't have their shit together?

All I did was search blu ray digibook and it came up under the search. Chatted with some moron from the company that had no idea about packaging at all and took about 6-7min to figure out what the point was, so I just cancelled my order.

Alright, for $9.99 I'll give it a go, dearly hoping Amazon is lazy with writing the title descriptions to their products. If it comes in some jacked up new re-issued case, I'll let everyone know and send the ***** back.

I completely agree. DigiPaks are different from DigiBooks in that packs are made from cardboard, as where books are in book format.

I saw this a Best Buy for $9.99. I almost bit, but I decided not to.

He was just trying to be helpful. As others have said, there is a difference between a digibook and a digipak.

I remember getting this from Best Buy a while back for $8.99. Worth every penny!

Funny, but rude.

The Taxi Driver digipack is really nice and an absolute bargain for anyone who likes the film. Its still one of the nicest blu-rays I have and it looks superb too given the age.

I wish they could do more like this. Quality, price and packaging are all perfect. They did an amazing job with the restoration/transfer with a unique and well conceived package (w. bonus stuff) at an unbeatable price. I guess it's a once in a life time kind of deal.

This is a blu ray I keep holding off. For sure this will be my next purchase when I get the chance. The digipack looks really cool with the movie stills included. At 9.99 on Amazon this is tempting.
