dont think this has been posted yet. still no release date but amazon has artwork up for it. pretty sweet pic imo. matches the 1st 2 nicely. and it looks like it will be a BD + DVD + Digital Copy Combo pack.

That seems odd seeing that cover without the typical Disney art around the pic.
Oh, and I forgot about the coupon. Guess I'll have to spend more to get Narnia this time. People complain about Disney MSRPs but I guarantee you this one will cost at least $5 more than what it would if it came from Disney and it won't have the DVD and DC (which doesn't really bother me but still). |

I knew Disney had dropped the franchise... and I wondered how that was going to go.
Did they keep any of the same actors?

Here are the bonus materials courtesy of the BBFC:
* Audio Commentary with Director Michael Apted * Deleted Scenes - "The Kids in Narnian Clothes" (0:28 ) - "Eustace is Ill" (0:37) - "Mutiny" (2:12) - "Caspian Doubt" (0:47) * Evergreen with Bug (?) (9:05) * Direct Effect - Michael Apted Director (6:21) * In Character with Liam Neeson as Aslan (5:00) * In Character with Georgie Henley and Will Poulter as Lucy Pevensie and Eustace Scrubb (5:14) * The Secret Islands: Untold Adventures of the Dawn Treader (6:57) * VFX Progression with Optional Commentary (12:26) * Good vs. Evil: Battle on the Sea (10:26) * Portal to Narnia: A Painting Comes to Life (7:02) * Location Pods - The Lone Islands (0:35) - Magician's Island (0:35) - Goldwater Island (0:43) - Dark Island (0:49) - Ramandu's Island (0:51) * Character Pods - Reepicheep (1:02) - Aslan (0:54) - Tavros (0:43) - Dragon (0:47) - Dufflepuds (0:53) - Lilliandil (0:29) - Great Sea Serpent (0:35) * End Title Songs From Around the World - Victoria S - "There's a Place for Us" (3:54) - Sonohra - "There's a Place for Us" (3:51) - Joe McElderry - "Someone Wake Me Up" (3:34) - Sergey Lazarev - "Instantly (4:11) - Stan Walker - "Stand Up" (3:41) - Xander de Burisonje - "There's a Place for Us" (3:53) - EMD - "There's a Place for Us" (3:49) I'm disappointed at the deleted scenes. This film apparently had a good deal of footage cut out, probably a good 15-20 minutes. Pretty much every scene had lines and shots trimmed off, and you can tell by the way the final cut's paced. I was hoping for an extended cut since Fox loves those, but it doesn't seem we're getting one. In other news, the film is the first Fox film since Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel back in December of 2009 to break the $100 million mark domestically. It's right now at $367 million worldwide. With Venezuela and Japan the only countries left for the film to debut in, $400 million is definitely a lock. That's less than Prince Caspian overall (that one made $419), but Dawn Treader is actually going to do better internationally ($278 for PC, $266 and counting for VotDT). Let's see if Fox is pleased enough by this to greenlight The Silver Chair.

When a fantasy film based off of a book is under 2 hours, its almost a certainty that it was cut up before release.
Look at the Golden compass. It was 113 minutes, but the actual full directors cut with original ending was closer to 160-170 minutes before the idiots at New Line decided to cut it up. |

Saw this in theaters. Even though I didn't like it as much as the first 2, it was a decent movie I'll be adding to my collection. I just hope they make the next few Narnia books into films as well. After Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, this is probably the best fantasy series going right now.
