Default Scream (1996) / Scream 2 (1997) / Scream 3 (2000)

Scream Blu-ray

Scream Blu-ray Review

Scream 2 Blu-ray

Scream 2 Blu-ray Review

Scream 3 Blu-ray

Scream 3 Blu-ray Review

Scream Trilogy Blu-ray September 6

It's finnaly coming, as verified here on Blu-ray.com as well as Wes Craven's twitter.

So who's excited for Scream in 1080p?? Especially since we never even got the original anamorphic.
If you have to whip out a microscope to decide if you like a Blu-ray or not, you are missing the point.

I am very excited. I checked this site 2 times last week and just last night looking for news. I was starting to go crazy as it is getting closer to Scream 4's release. This is something I am gonna pre-order the first second it's up on amazon! I also hope for directors cut of scream one. Always feels wrong when her bf's guts don't fall out in the first scene!

I'll definitely buy this day 1. I've been waiting for these since the first day I started getting Blu-Rays. So excited.

I just know that Lions Gate will give these films great transfers.

I think I saw it 7 or 8 times @ the theatre. It was such a Phenomenon back in late 96 or first part of 97 that my local theatre kept it for months and for a while I'd go with friends every weekend even though the print was scratched and we started to memorize where those green lines would pop up. I think the first one was in theatres almost til when the 2nd one came out. After seeing this film on the movie channels I too have been wanting to see the movie in 1080p with a highter bit rate.

Pfft...Try 37.

I had the original Scream website back in the day, I totally need to get it off an old PC and put it back up for nostalgia sake - they actually reference it in the commentary on the first film. Although I would like a new commentary, I hope they put the old one in as well for that reason, LOL.

Haha my friends and I as well.

We used to have Rocky Horror lines, like, "OH NO! WATCH OUT FOR THE FAT-ASS STUNT DOUBLE!"

(We didn't intend to be mean, LOL, but the bottom of Neve's stunt-double when she is running up the stairs in her house is noticeably larger than Neve's.

You and your friends sound fun.

Haha and vice versa.

I still come home to "Do you like scary movies?" occasionally on my machine.

Awesome! I hope they're good transfers.
"Does the Blu-ray version of '.......' look better than it's DVD version?"

I'm so sick of this question. 99% of Blu-rays look better than their DVD counterpart. Period.

So looks like not many are going to wait for the inevitable Quadrilogy...
I will certainly try to.
