Default I got Problems: Picture and Audio keep cutting out.

Receiver: Sony STR-DH810
Blu-ray player: Sony BDP-S370

So, As the title says the picture and Audio keep cutting out when playing a blu-ray movie and I have no clue what to do and it seems to be rather random.

I just tried to watch Transformers 2( Sounds is freaking awesome ) and for the first Hour everything seemed fine and then it just started cutting out every 2 minutes or less for the rest of the movie for about 2-5 seconds each time.

I watched Black Hawk down Yesterday with no problems and Taken the day before with no problems.

I have the 180P/24fps setting turned to off( this actually solved my poor picture quality problem I had Before) on the BR player and I turned of HDMI control off for both receiver and BR player too.

Any Ideas ?

Do each of the units have proper ventilation?

Yes, but the Blu-ray player was pretty warm. But I assumed since it played the other movies fine, the Warmth wasn't the Problem.

Have you switched out HDMI cables yet (assuming you are using HDMI)?

At least unplug, and reconnect the HDMI cables, or better yet, if it starts cutting out a lot, while it's playing disconnect and reconnect them.

1. Has this drop out happened only with Transformers 2 bluray?
2. Did the movie play fine before?
3. Have you updated your firmware on the 370 yet?

I know some talk has been going on in the S570 thread that the new firmware from Sony screwed up their players.

Well it seems that the Player/receiver or what ever was the problem has fixed it's self.

No more Audio drop outs or picture drop outs on any thing, even watched transformers 2 again all the way through and all was good

Extremely weird, but I ain't complaining.

Thanks for the replies folks, Much appreciated
