Can't wait to hear Tom Sawyer, Limelight, and Red Barchetta in Blu Ray Audio. Neil's drums will (hopefully) sound monstrous in lossless audio. Shame their current tour won't be coming to Indianapolis. They usually stop through on every tour but not this one. I think it would be great to hear some of their other albums on Blu Ray Audio as well, in addition to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon(the SACD sounds great), The Wall and Wish You Were Here.

+100 for the new avatar and the list - my list order would be pretty much the same except I'd drop Moving Pictures 2 spots to #4... sorry, just like the older albums a little better...

Now amazon.com has it listed for Preorder, price 26.71.
Maybe below 20 before release date, like it was with Mojo? I'm definitely getting this one. Not only to support the format but also because it seems like a great album. I already knew I liked Rush but this will be the first album by them that I actually own. |

On Rush.com they "say" that the video:Vital Signs (Music Video – 5.1 & Stereo – Previously Unreleased)
But i can remember that it was released on the Laserdisc; "Through the camera eye". Of course they are right if they mean prev. unrel. in 5.1 but in stereo i had it on the Laserdisc. I don't know if it was on the VHS tape. But than again Lock and Key was also only on the Laserdisc and not on VHS and not on the DVD. |

Amazon preorder link added to Blu-Audio release list in the Blu Audio thread: http://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mus...on-thread.html
Doc PS: If anyone from the band happens to read this forum or if Richard Chycki would be willing to chime in with commentary on the work involved to bring this project to light - we'd love to hear from you guys!!!

You know, I added the Amazon pre-order link - but can we get a Blu-ray.com preorder link added to the BR.C info page, so each preorder can continue to benefit the site??? (click here if anyone doesn't know what I mean by that... http://forum.blu-ray.com/feedback-fo...u-ray-com.html )

Hopefully the "stereo audio in 96kHz/24-bit high-resolution" will still be accessible on the DVD-Video portion, too... I'm all for backwards compatibility!

Broon was arguably the 4th member of Rush... he was on the recent VH1 classics for moving pics and 2112 and was cool to see him in the studio at a mixing board with the band at one point. ah well... i have the original stereo mix on mobile fidelity gold disc (or is that signals and 2112? hmm.. time to plunge into the wall of CDs!) damn fine band.... |

"Broon's Bane Found on the Exit...Stage Left live album, "Broon's Bane" is a short classical guitar arrangement performed by Lifeson as an extended intro to "The Trees". The song is named after Terry Brown (Brown is also referred to as "T.C. Broonsie" during the intro to Jacob's Ladder) who produced Exit...Stage Left and 10 other Rush albums. It is not featured on any other live or studio recording by Rush. The song repeats and builds upon the same three-beat line, coming to a climax about one minute into the piece before segueing into "The Trees." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Rush_instrumentals |

I added the Amazon.com link to the US listing, it just needs to be approved by a Mod...then I can order, a bit pricey though, right now.
