What do you guys do to to fix slips that are busted like the dumbo one a few pages back, where the glue has come undone along the spine? I picked one up tonight that was in a security clamshell and I didn't notice it had come unglued.

Last time this happened I tried some random brand of glue I had laying around but it didn't stick for some reason, is there a specific product that someone here has used that for sure works well?

I feel like it's a dumb question, but after having the glue I used last time mark up the slip without actually fixing anything, I figured i'd ask the experts...

Okay guys, I'm way behind on haul photos. This will be a large post so hang in there with me. It consists of the few days and includes BDs (mostly with slips) and games (by request).

Monday

Hit up a BBV about 45min from me and finally found an original Transformers. Grabbed a bunch of others as well that I have been looking for. Also my orders for the Cowboys & Aliens steelbook and WBshop Hangover suitcase came in. And most of you know me, the extras are gifts, I've already given some of each away.





Tuesday

Picked up most of the new releases I wanted except ones not carried in stores. Not shown are two BDs I got as gifts due to great prices, Nightmare Before xmas 3D and Fright Night 3D. Unfortunately I didn't get the Kung Fu Panda collection yet due to best buy not carrying it and target lost a shipment of them. The Grinch BD is courtesy of MrGbox.





Games

These consist of pick-ups from the past week or so. Not pictured are ones coming in the mail, Infamous 2 Hero edition and Dragon Age: Ultimate Collection.




I had to get the Dark Souls CE guide to match the CE I was able to grab. Also pictured are the Ubi Workshop Assassin's Creed white edition encyclopedias.





Overall it was a great week.

Been forced to watch VD lately because Shopkick has a promotion where you can get kicks/points by watching the commercials during this show. I must say I can't get into it so far, but 190 kicks/points each night is worth it.

Nice haul, Shin. I still have to get The Expendables. Your BBV haul is similar to mine except for Dragon, Unstoppable and The Fighter, which I previously had. Gotta hit up Target for those Christmas slips. Been waiting for BBY to carry them so I can price-match, but I don't think they ever will.

Shin how much were those Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia. I really want one. Also that Dark Souls guide isn't a CE, thats just the normal guide

That is the CE for Dark Souls! It's a hardcover and stated CE on the UPC sticker.

The AC encyclopedias were $35 each. Ubisoft screwed my first order and has to send me two more. One is mine and the other is for a friend who asked me to order it for them.

Well yes it states CE but it is the only guide that exists for the game, so essentially, it is just a regular guide. I understand you thinking its CE because its hardcover, but I assure you, its just the regular guide.

And I'm definitely going to order that encyclopedia sometime after Christmas. Thanks for the info. $35 isn't bad at all.

amazing haul Shin. worth the wait Love the Hangover 2 suitcase, really nice. Im also getting the inFamous 2 Hero Edition, waiting for a price drop though. how much are you getting it for?
Also do you have the bioshock 2 special edition. if you dont, trust me get it. its amazing
Went to EB games and they had Fear 3 ps3 boxset for $47 which i may get and awsome Assassin's Creed Revelations boxset with lenticular cover for $108! pretty amazing, if i get it ill post pics. i know how jelly you are about our AC editions

ill admit i bought 3 games and havnt even touched them . You cant really pass up a boxset can you? I would imagine Shin is the same :P

I got ya. Heads up on the encyclopedia, Ubi has stated they are not making any more at this time.

Infamous 2 CE was $25 new. And of course I have the Bioshock 2 CE.

I didn't know of any Fear box set, nor AC:R set. And yes, I do want all things AC! A friend of mine just bought me the four novels. I knew two exists, didn't know there were four so he surprised me with them a couple days back.

This is true. If I had the cash I'd get most of the CE's if I could.

I have a friend that doesn't buy blu's but get's all the 360 boxsets.

He's got them for games he'll never play.

I'm happy to have all the Mass Effect CE that were released in the US. Just waiting on Mass 3.

BIGGEST IDIOT Saw the Warriors Lenticular Slip at JB and saw the $39.99 price tag on it so I didnt bother checking the price. Go home, and sees the actual price is $16 Should have brought it to the counter!!!

I'd like to see that slip. I may buy it on day one, some definite powerful scenes in the film, one in particular comes to mind. The only thing I didn't like it how overstretched the plot was and that they basically told you the ending in the trailer.

Sadly the US didn't get a CE for AC:R the only thing we got was the Gamestop Signature Edition. And then there was the Assassin's Creed Revelations Ultimate Bundle with the figurines.
