Yeah nofloc is a good guy and it's very nice of him to give away those slips. Back in the day when the old slip thread was like that. People helping each other get slips and not selling them for crazy prices.

Yea so imagine my problem with trying to complete the skylanders set. I also had started collecting Marvel Universe figures for him and I had everything including variants for about the first year and a half of their release. I have a total of about 300 and ea. one after taxes is about $10. They initially said it would only last about 2 years but with its popularity there is no end in sight for that series so I gave up on it. Hopefully I can break even and sell them on ebay as some of the earlier ones are extremely valuable. And now with the prices of the out of print and target exclusive slips skyrocketing I am sure you can understand why I set myself with that rule

Getting $15-$20 a pop for something that was FREE and readily-available to the seller is gouging IMO. I've expressed this on the trading forum multiple times, and I'm done with pontificating about my dislike of the practice (for now).

Man I could only imagine trying to complete the Skylander set. And since they are so popular they are going to continue to make more. Would love to see pics of your Marvel Universe figs if you have pics of them. I always wanted to collect those but after I started pricing them I was like...better not.

Did you see the price of those UK gold Skylander figurines? I believe the went for like $1000 plus.

And I agree the Target Exclusive are the ones that always go up in price. And I can understand your rule about them. I pretty much have the some rules on my slip purchases as well. I am still missing quite a few that I would love to own in my set but I won't pay $10 or more for them because that's just nuts. And I would love to get some imports but the prices would eat me alive.

Did anyone hear of Battle Royale standard release will have a slip or not? Sorry if this has been asked but just got my internet fixed and it's been 2 weeks since I could really check this thread.

Yea they are definitely making more. There is a part 2 to the game coming this summer I believe and it is coming with "giant" skylanders. Keep in mind that they have not even finished releasing all the ones for the original game. Damn Activition, they are the peripheral kings. And yea I saw some of those gold skylanders for big big big $$$$$. Good thing I am not even remotely that rich!
