I agree. The first was okay at best. Went down hill after that. This new one looks like crap too. It's a shame Romero didn't get to do his RE movie. At least it would have handled the source material better.

Well after reading the script again recently he did stick to the source material more closely, but it would be hard to call it a Resident Evil due to the amount of changes he made.

I never watch these movies as Resident Evils, because they're not, just enjoyable action films.

That's racist. Not all Asian people look the...nevermind.

It does kinda look like him though.

On another note, I'm actually excited about this one. I didn't care for the last one, only watched it once and I probably won't watch it again. But I do like the characters
[Show spoiler]that are coming back that have been killed.

Apocalypse was my favorite, Nemesis was a beast.

Yes, although I did think she was at her best during the first film. The second and third...nah but Afterlife and Retribution - definately.

I like these movies...

BUT

I just wish there was some closure at some point...Why cant movies just end?
I mean it just seems like the more money they make they put another one out until its resident evil 10....then when it doesnt make money they just end and reboot it...With no closure...really with all movies they do this but come on..just start with a idea...go somewhere with it...make 2-3 movies...then end it on a good note...

She said in the Live Chat for the recent trailer premiere that if this one does well, a 6th would most likely be the last. I believe she said something about everyone getting to old! haha I personally love that she & her husband are so passionate about these films. Also the fact that Milla does 90% of the stunts is nice.

Cool...I am 100% fine with that. I like these movies and would like them to end on there own not due to lack of sales or what not. This movie will do good all of the resident evils have done pretty good box office wise.

I enjoy all of them, but find Apocalypse to be the weakest ast well.

Recently watched Afterlife...I hope they drop the OVERLOAD of slow-mo in the fifth

So do I, but from the interviews I've seen for Afterlife that seems to something they love about making a 3D film.

And I like slow-mo...but I don't need to see a two minute fight scene, turned into a five to six minute scene . That was crazy.
