I am suprised there is no thread for this! It is coming out on March 29th, I have it already pre-ordered!

Well anyway, yeah, I'm surprised this doesn't have its own thread! It's the world's most iconic Sponge getting his Blu-ray debut! Who WOULDN'T be excited for that!

This is at the top of my list, along with Tangled, Tron/Tron: Legacy, Alice in Wonderland, Bambi, and the Incredibles.

I'm certainly excited. I was 5 when the show premiered so I'm part of the generation the sponge truly belongs to. It's good to see Nick finally get a movie out on blu-ray and this was the obvious choice, as its the culmination of SpongeBob's success and the end of the Hillenberg era. And it's nice to see all the extras will be present in addition to new ones (like the TMNT Forever preview

). The 29th is gonna be quite a day too, as I've got this, NIMH, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Tangled, and Scream on their way. With these titles, Anastasia the week before, and Taxi Driver and The Incredibles the week after, I may have to take a blu break until summer with Pulp Fiction.

Well I'm 40 and I enjoy watching SpongeBob with my kids. I will get this to add to my collection.

I remember seeing this when it was in theatres. Might have to pick this up for old times sake when it hits the $10 price range.

It should have been as big a contender for blu this year -- this is the Rugrats 20th anniversary after all.

Sadly, I couldn't find anything about TMNT Forever on there as promised. Fortunately, this is a stupendous release in every other aspect. Everything from the DVD is carried over and most importantly it looks absolutely amazing. I always thought the DVD looked pretty good but the colors, depth and definition on this brought me back to that fateful November evening I saw this in theaters back in 2004. Good times revisited for sure.

i seen it $20 at walmart. thats where i got my copy. since my local best buy doesnt have any left. too bad they didnt make the case yellow. like they did with the dvd release.
