All I can really say is I like it so far, I'd say it's definitely a step or two up from the 360. Wonder what that thing is about, asking me to plug in a USB device.

Yes it replaced my PS3, I would've gotten a 480 or a 580 if I had wanted those other features but I just wanted a player. Got it for $129.99 + tax at Best Buy.

What makes it "a step or two above the 360"?

I finally got a big screen for the living room and have moved the 37" into the bedroom. I now need another BD player. I am currently using a Sony BDP-S360 in the living room and can get another NiB from a local retailer for under $100. I don't know if I should pick up another 360 on the cheap or get something newer. I have no use for using the player for anything other then BD playback so I'm leaning towards the 360 as I've read that most people will be hard pressed to tell the diff in 2d BD playback no matter what player you watch.

Loading discs will be much quicker and the ability to stream movies, tv shows, and music from various places such as Netflix, Pandora, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, and Qriocity.

What about image quality? Is it any better or is it just the spead and streaming features? Honestly, I have no use for the streaming features. I have an xbox, laptop and PC I use to stream. I'm just looking for a BD player to play BD's.

O_O Nice. Also glad I got this last week, apparently it went up $20 this week at BB so I got it just in time before the price increase. Oh and another upgrade from the 360 is there is now an eject button on the remote. I also like that it's now easier to give the player commands without the remote.
