Yes it ain't particular pretty i know but the hassle of finding the wood beams that hold up the ceiling goes a little over my head.

I know fiberglass/rockwool is better for low frequencies but for everything over 500hz they are similar.

I've been wondering since i live at the top of my apartment building and there properly is a rather big airgap over my plasterboards and the roof. Also they put some 10-15cm fiberglass just over it when they renovated the apartment complex. Maybe the lower frequencies doesn't accumulate so much there then.

Got me this. --> the t.akustik 5020 Pyramid 2pcs Set. For the ceiling.

Not the perfect solution but much cheaper than Auralex.

Well that ceiling has been in my thoughts for quite some time so im happy too very soon get this handled. Im was a bit lazy, not wanting too search for wood beams behind of the plaster tiles and such. So i went for foam instead of fiberglass but i guess as long as you don't overdo it it's fine.

Then if/when i decide too do a complete overhaul of the panels it doesn't matter as much if i throw it all out and begin anew.

I also have A thick blackout curtain which i need too buy and install, plus my pj shelf (need help for that) and maybe a few rockwool panels that i want too place at the top corners instead on layin behind my sofa and center speaker.

Theeeeeen Im done!

Alright so decided too upgrade my subwoofers eq capabilities even further. So i ordered some stuff. A Behringer FBQ1000 (refresh of the DSP1124P) too eq my subwoofers, A Tascam US-122MK2 as an improved soundcard and M-Audio USB Midisport Uno too control it through the midi ports.

On top of this i also ordered a calibrated Behringer ECM8000 (Premium+) from cross-spectrum.com.
