Patience is a virtue wenn dealing with some online stores.

It is.. Hope the same for you. Tomorrow they're supposed to get my sub and center speaker decuplers in stock in the UK. So at least those will arrive soon after over a month of waiting.

Now all my dept is finally payed of so next month i will start really adding too my room. I have two ways i can do it. Either go the minimalistic route, figure out only the most essential sound reflection points on the back wall and the two bottom corners thereof.

The other way would be too go all out but that would of cause be pretty extensive and properly end up cluttering the room.

Also maybe some transducers and a separate amp for those. Oh and some thick blackout curtains

My order from gik acoustic might look something like this:

3x gik 242 for the front wall behind the speakers, 4x gik 244 for the back wall and 2x gik tri traps for the bottom back wall corners. Not really that much room any other places and i also have too be a little careful not getting to much stuff that i won't need in the future.

Listened to some CM7, 8, and 9s as well as Dynaudio X32s the other weekend. The X32s are much nicer than the CM8s, but the CM9s are closer. The X32s may give a bit of a truer sound, but the X32s give more of a complete sound. Next time I will try to hear the CM Center 2 and X22. Are you still contemplating getting different speakers? I wouldn't if I were you.

No im not anymore mate. I would lose at least 30% of value and adding too that is the hassle of having too pack everything and managing warranties.

Right now im deep into getting a projector. Atm. looking at an used Panasonic PT-AE4000 if i can get it a little cheap. Im aware that there are new models from epson and panasonic just around the corner but they will be expensive for a good half year and i really think i have waited long enough..Getting restless lol.

Me too. I just hate the wait. If the epson hc 8100/tw-3200 drops further next month i might just get that..Well it's either that or use the wait getting my sound in order first (sound absorption/new amp).

Yes that guy Brent is a lucky fellow.

You too buddy.

I just removed the auralex speakerdudes from my almost 2 months old order. So now it gets sent right away. I'll order the speakerdudes from ebay instead.

Since the new projectors from epson and panasonic still are rather expensive still i'll wait a bit and next month i will get sound treatment from gik acoustic instead. Together with the auralex risers im absolutely sure that it will make a difference.

I'll be sure too take a lot of pictures then mate.

I just hope the panels arent too ugly. I think they'll be in an off white color to try and match the walls.

Damn i want this. Will start saving up as soon as im done with the audio stuff. Hopefully it will drop a little in price this half year. It's only fair too use the same amount of cash for the picture as i did for the audio right?

Im pretty sure that this is the cheapest jvc with complete color management. "Only" 8000$ lol.

Made my first ever bass trap today. ~4 inch rockwool in the frame. 6 more panels too go.

One side is a bit skewed but im still pretty satisfied this being my first attempt.
