The Walking Dead Blu-ray/DVD problem! - Blu-ray Forum

So I recently put in the second disc (ep. 5&6) and even though I purchased the Blu-ray version, the first disc is a Blu-ray disc and the second is a DVD. Did anyone else have this happen to them? Also, does anyone know of a number to call to fix this problem?

You could try to exchange it.

I'm gonna try that. Luckily I bought it on 3/11/11 so I have a couple of days to still do so. However I was just curious if this is an isolated incident.

There is a thread search bar. I suggest you use that and find the already existing Walking Dead thread and ask the folks there. I had no problems with my set at all, so I'm thinking you may wanna do a store exchange.

Mine both say blu ray disc on the disc.

I recall someone else said they got a DVD in the BD set too, perhaps it was in the official thread here... or somewhere else. Such mixups happen, I guess. I've gotten BDs with missing discs, a different movie, or the right movie but different label art, or right label art but wrong movie... but never a DVD though.

Mine's fine. 2 disc, and both are blu-ray.

I wonder how that could've happened. Are you SURE it's dvd? It doesnt say Blu-Ray anywhere?

I just bought it yesterday and I have the same problem. Unfortunately, I bought it used so I think I'm screwed.

Depends on who you bought it from. If you got it from a seller on amazon or some other online site, contact them.
