Like others, I really enjoyed TDKR. Thought it was a fitting end to Nolan's trilogy.

like most i saw the Dark Knight Rises, while i thought it was a really good film it would have been better if it wasn't a batman film

it would have been better if it wasnt a batman movie?? not really as then it would have been about a rich guy who dressed in a costume and had expensive gadgets and a butler ! oh wait its a batman movie!

Yes really as if you knew anything about Batman you'd know the things he does and the way he acts are nothing like how Batman would react to such situations! It would of been a better movie if it wasn't Bruce/batman as these stupid mistakes would have been forgivable but since it is a batman movie they are not, hence why I only rate it as a good movie not a great one

I too loved TDKR - I've held off upgrading the first two from DVD so that I could buy the complete trilogy BD, hopefully a steelbook!

Same situation as me; tempted by the recent double Steelie but there's bound to be a trilogy release this Christmas and hopefully there will be a version in steel too!

I never claimed to be the fountain of all batman knowledge however I have been an avid batman fan since a very young age and have followed his stories through comics, movies and TV shows and am well informed enough to know how batman acted in that film wasn't true or loyal to the character himself.

secondly Batman would never be that trusting of catwomen to just waltz into Banes base of operations without any sort of plan, that is just not what the character would do. Thirdly Batman would never just go head to head with bane in the daylight like towards the end of the film. He would use the night, thats what he does. Yes the night failed him in one fight with Bane but Batman would of attacked during the night, he would out smart bane not go head to head with him! hopefully this makes my point clearer, the way Batman is written in this movie is not at all true to how Batman would react to these situations. So like I said before if it wasn't Batman making these mistakes I would be okay with it as its possible for a police officer or some other person to do this but for the worlds greatest detective to make such stupid mistakes its just not in character at all.

seriously what are you talking about! the movie is a different entity to the comics!!! ive been reading batman for the past 20 odd years, you seem to be confusing comic batman and movie batman!

your original statement of it would have been better if not a batman movie still makes bugger all sense!

Comic Batman adn Movie Batman need to be one in the same! otherwise you're just taking the appearance of a character!

at the end of the day the movie was okay, it should of been better, but it wasn't!

The first two of nolans films are faithful to the character, in my opinion
