Eh, any Stephen Chow is something I suppose, eventually they'll run out of crappy ones and they'll HAVE to release God of Cookery and the Fight Back to School movies.

Still have the dvd ... its an average 80s hk action flick ... nothing special.
If you´re not an hardcore stephen chow (think this was his first role ?) or danny lee fan ... theres no reason to waste the 18 $. |

Not sure if I had watched it before. Definitely, it is not a comedy. It is one of the earliest movie of Stephen Chow (if not the first one). Danny Lee brought him to movie scene. He was a TV actor before that, although still very successful as a comedian.
If you expect a typical comedy by Stephen Chow, sure it would disappoint you. |

As mentioned already by someone else on this forum. This is true HD. This has got to be the best blu ray release of an old non remastered Fortune Star Hong Kong title. Plenty of detail, and vibrant colours.

I've just had a quick skim through (I understand Cantonese so don't watch the films with them on) the subtitles seem ok, there are the odd grammar problems but nothing too distracting that I can see. I don't have the Joy sales discs on hand to compare. The image improvement is enough to recommend an upgrade purchase even if the subtitles are the same as the prior release.
