Meh, By the time November and December Roll around here you'll see Blu pass HD DVD I'm sure. Nevertheless I'm still picking up Transformers on the 16th on HD DVD.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that we're still seeing HD-DVD even hang on this close myself.

Meh, as long as they're making a profit even if their product is Garbage they'll still be around. Even if that profit is 1 buck. I think they're very short term. I mean if they even considered long term they would have closed shop by now.

Good feedback all, man those HD-DVDer's are really pushing amazon! They are bascially caught up now with smallville, planet earth, 300 on top of blu ray now. Interesting to see their efforts.

I can't figure out what is going on with Amazon, HD DVD and Blu Ray, usually if HD DVD's are ahead it is pre-orders from HD DUD supporters that they would just cancel later to affect the ranking so I never paid much attention to the rankings, but some of the movies that are ahead are well into stock, like as of now, 300 is at 34, the BR is at 96, Planet Earth is at 78, the BR is at 84, Batman Begins is back up to 76, Heroes is at 134, Bourne Supremacy is at 140.

I think that some of these sales are that Blu Ray supporters are giving up and buying HD DVD to get certain movies they can't get, the reason I think that is what is one of the most requested movies we wanted on BR-Batman Begins which is back up in the rankings for some type of reason, that shows new player sales since most HD DUD'ers already own it.

What I don't get is that there are about 2 million PS3 ( I have two of them) sold here in the U.S. plus at least a few hundred thousands in stand alone units, we should be able to knock them out as far as any rankings go, not 2-1 or 60-40 as last week was, it should be 90-10 based on units sold.

The short stock of the Warner titles combined with HDers preference for Amazon
