So..I recently bought this set and where is the IFC Anatomy of a Scene feature? Or the behind the scenes interviews? I've went through ever disc and don't see either of those.

I couldnt believe it actually so I watched the first parts back to back on both discs and it is true. How can this be that is the question? Anyone got any ideas. I am glad i kept my original version.
Care to elaborate?

I love both editions of the movie. I watch the Director's Cut more because to me it's the complete experience of the film. But every now and then I watch the theatrical cut. I like The Killing Moon at the beginning of the TC, but I agree with Richard Kelly that the song makes more sense at the end of the party scene. Everytime I watch the DC of the film and the haunting low-key version of The Killing Moon comes on at at the end of the party scene I get chills. Still to this day Donnie Darko is in my Top 5 favorite movies ever. I wish people would get over the whole DC and TC crap, it's an eff'n great movie either way. Just my opinion of course.

I agree. I love the theatrical version. It made you think and doesn't give you all of the answers. After watching the Director's Cut the first time I thought it explained too much and the added scenes changed the mood of the scenes.

After watching the Theatrical many more times I went back to the Director's Cut and now I prefer it. Since I already "get" the movie, I don't need for it to be ambiguous. Even though the DC explains a lot more, it also opens up a lot more questions and theories. Even though I love "Killing Moon", it's much more suited for the party and "Love Will Tear Us Apart" feels like a better opening.

It's funny, not many people notice Seth Rogen in this film.

HAHA. I hadn't seen the film in about five/six years and recently bought it using the 3.00 coupon. When he first shows up I did a double take because I couldn't remember him being in the film...
