Default Live Action Comic Book Movies?

So, I'm trying to get all worthwhile comic book adaptations (and even throwing in some that people would describe as awful), here's what I have so far:
  • 300: The Complete Experience
  • Fantastic Four
  • Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
  • Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology
  • Batman Begins
  • Dark Knight, The
  • Ghost Rider
  • Hulk
  • Incredible Hulk, The
  • Iron Man
  • Iron Man 2
  • Kick-Ass
  • RED
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
  • Sin City
  • Spider-Man
  • Spider-Man 2
  • Spider-Man 3
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film collection
  • Watchmen
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine
  • X-Men
  • X2: X-Men United
  • X3: The Last Stand

Just Ordered:
  • Constantine
  • Daredevil
  • V for Vendetta

On my wishlist:
  • Hellboy
  • Hellboy 2 The Golden Army
  • History of Violence, A
  • Mask, The
  • Punisher, The
  • Punisher War Zone
  • Road to Perdition
  • Wanted

Any others I'm missing? I'd appreciate any recommendations/suggestions

I was also thinking about that one, since I already ordered Daredevil.

What about Batman The Movie (Adam West) ? No collection is complete without this classic. I own it for its cheesyness and camp.

Men In Black
The Phantom

So funny you've just made this thread, I made a list last night of all them so I could collect them. =) But yeah, this is a great idea, that way we have the list all in one place.

In terms of comics, your list is missing Blade, Blade II, Blade: Trinity, Catwoman, Jonah Hex, Spawn (Canada release),The Spirit and Surrogates.

Thor is still to be released whilst later this Later this year, they'll also be Cowboys and Aliens,X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern and Captain America: The First Avenger.

If you are going to count Watchmen, that means you're including graphic novel adaptations too. So that means you'll have to add Men in Black, Men in Black II, Priest and Road to Peridition (possibly based on a comic?).

Oh, also, I'd recommend Battle Royale. It's currently only a UK release but it's based on a very good Japanese manga series. Or it's based on the novel, which is also very good. Either way, that gets a recommendation from me.

I'll update if I think of anymore.

Well, then we'd have to start moving to Ghost World and Persepolis. But I think the OP is interested primarily in Superhero films.

Well, I've listed them anyway. And to be fair, Persepolis is an autobiography.

Oh yeah. No ill will intended.

Curious though. Why would a book be excluded from the graphic novel list because it's an autobiography?

Well, if you want a complete list of movies based on graphic novels/comics, it shouldn't be. But Persepolis is more of an animated film than a live action movie. Plus, it's hardly comparable to even the worst of the above list (i.e. Elektra). I, for one, found it unamusing and unentertaining. Personal opinion though and I respect others will love the film.

It was horrible, but Aeon Flux, even though it didn't start as a comic, has had a graphic novel as well as some Dark Horse comics in the series.

Sig-less; it's just better that way.

You should add:

A History of Violence
Road to Perdition

And if you wanted to include blus/anime's based off of manga, that list is gonna expand pretty big.

I agree with the Road to Perdition recommendation and also want to point out that Sucker Punch is not a comic book adaptation.

Believe it or not, Sucker Punch is not based off a comic book, or anything for that matter. Completely original (not necessarily a good thing).

I keep hoping The Shadow will see a BD release in the U.S. It is one of my favorite live action comic films as if my avatar didn't already tell you that.

I don't know if you consider Conan a superhero, but he kind of is. It is supposed to be released this year (if you believe the sources). I'd still add it to my list.
