One of these days I will post a pic of my cheap Technics turntable that is hooked up to an older Stereo Denon receiver and feed into my Desktop PC. I have over 200 LPs that I should really transfer to the PC and get you all a list of what I own in case you might be interested in them. Unless Russ you want to fly out to my place and do that chore for me?

I don't have room on my office desk for some nice monitor speakers so no I do not play them. But now that I have a DLNA device like the TV I have more incentive to get my butt in gear and copy them into a library.

Hi Bryce, yes I do. Down the road I'm looking to buy my 5th or 6th (can't remember) AVR, the venerable Oppo Bdp-93, and eventually a completely new speaker system. But I tend to go about upgrades at a much slower rate then some of the other guys here.

How are you this fine Friday morning? BTW you need to spell it "system"... no "a". You can ask one of the mods to change the title of your thread so system is spelled correctly.

I always have to work Saturdays dude. But then on Sundays I don't do.....(fill in word here). However I just got wind that I will have to go to work next Sunday for a half a day. Aw F.......

Seems like you've got a busy weekend full of to do's. Yeah I've been a bit scarce here lately, just had a busy week.

I plan on watching Hugo tonight, I hope it's as good as I'm hearing it is. Did you buy it?

Thx guys - I just read a week or so ago, that the latest "singer" (David Benoit) was let go, after having to take some time off (medical issues). But, get this: He found out Not by the band telling him or having a meeting to discuss their future, but by reading about it in a band member's interview!! (No Doubt, it was more than likely, Chris Squire).

When YES announced the sudden departure of vocalist Benoit David, it caught many by surprise – including, unfortunately, David himself.

He issued a statement Friday to confirm the news and shed a bit of light regarding his departure. No doubt, it’s a crushing thing for Benoit to lose a dream gig after being a YES fan for so long, but he certainly handled the events with a lot of class.

Bassist Chris Squire took the lineup changes in stride and says that he even believes that the band will work again with original vocalist Jon Anderson someday.

YES will play their first shows with new vocalist Jon Davison in April.

At least HE showed some Major "Class" in not slamming the band, when he prob had all the right to do so, or felt the urge to.

I met the band a few yrs ago in Boston at a signing event, got a boxed set Autographed by the guys, & even went to a 2-day "YES-Tival" in Philly about 20 yrs ago. The band was in town for a cpl shows & showed up, did some Q&A's with the crowd, played some songs, there was Tons of memorabilia to browse over/purchase, etc.

All that said, til' JON ANDERSON's "Back" in the group, they're all just nothing but another band.

I am good. Work has been busy the past week (no posting much) but that is good for the pocketbook. We made another offer on a rental house yesterday and they accepted. So we now have two rental houses. Pretty exciting (and scary).

I will be trying to go to the range this weekend. I have to shoot the new gun.....AK-47......semi auto not fully auto of course. It is still a really cool gun.
