How long did it take to charge your headset? I left mine charging for 5 hours and the red light was still on.

I heard it only takes 2 hrs to charge.

Mine are still on their first charge but I did do an initial charge before I even turned them on and I believe they were fully charged in about 2 hours.

It takes three hours WITH YOUR PS3 ON (according to the manual.) Or, you could plug them into your PC to get them charged while you're not gaming. Charge lasts around 10 hours of gaming. As with all things charging via PS3, when you first turn your PS3 on whatever device is hooked up will still "charge" for about 5 minutes.

I tried to plug into my tv(sony bravia lx900).It didin't work.Would have been nice though.

I was surprised by the amount of bass coming from the headset! I ended up just listening to many of my songs all over. I lost track of time. It was, certainly, a good purchase for me. The headset is just a tad lose on my head, though.

Well, if you were truly ascended, you wouldn't have that problem (all that hair would keep your headphones tight to your head, lol.)

Really, after weeks of gaming with these now I recommend them to anyone I know that needs a new headset. Most headsets are pretty comfortable, but I *really* forget I even have the headset on after hours of gaming (and trust me, I put in 100 hours last week!)

Same here, I have been using these headsets for resistance 3 and it's really incredible. Especially since it makes hearing the dialog in war games very easy and just makes you feel so much more immersed. I can't wait to play these with battlefield 3.

I noticed this says that surround sound does not work with blurays. So you can you not use them with blurays at all?

That's Correct. They do NOT support DVD & Blu Ray, and they tell you that. It will work through XMB, if you have downloaded a Movie that it is in 5.1 or Netflix, the surround will work. When you operating a DVD or Blu Ray , it is not working through the XMB.

They do work with blu ray watched scarface with them.

Of course it did. The post he quoted implied they don't work with blu-ray discs at all.

They just don't work in 7.1 (which not sure how you could tell difference in a movie with a headset anyway.)

Guess that explains the difference in the Turtle Beach models.

I got a pair last night. The build quality seems good. Took 2 hours or so to reach full charge.

The sound quality is pretty good and the surround works suprisingly well. I tried Resistance 3 due to all the footsteps, etc. Then I tried some Uncharted 2. It doesn't look like there are options for adjusting the bass, midrange or treble but I could be wrong.

My ears get warm while they are on so I'll have to see if I get used to that.

I couldn't get them to work on my iMac? Anybody have any luck

Got them to work on my iMac, you have to go to your sound settings in the preferences menu and select the headset as the output device.

I've been using them in the Battlefield 3 Beta and am LOVING them. The only problem is that I hear EVERY bullet that whizzes by my head and hits behind me.

I've tried these for madden 11 and not sure if I like it for that game.It seems the voice isn't clear when chatting.Still messing around with it though.
