HMV - Blu-ray Deals!

Just so you guys know it also says on their website that they will accept trade-ins of HD-DVD, so you guys don't need to be emailing customer service.

Anyone in there last night or today and noticed if Cabin Fever and/or The Crazies is included in the trade in promo? They arent on the list, but that list is from Jan 27.

Thanks. I guess they updated it to avoid all the e-mail pestering from HD DVD traders out there. That line about Bonus Offer wasn't there last week.

hoping to get some more stuff b4 feb27th rolls around and this deal is done. only thing id consider is Magnolia right now, but @$15 after trade-in.. its pushing my price limit.

anybody else find some good hidden deals?

Just went to one of the stores that rejected my combo, they accepted it without batting an eyelash.

I picked up JFK, $10 after trade-in. It's one of those Warner Digi-book. Pretty good deal. IMO.

i definitely paid ALOT more for this one on release day. havnt even opened my copy yet. stupid move on my part.

p.s - i was in there today an one of the associated helping me out said they have now extended the $5 trade in promo till the end of march

Anyone know of a few movies with this promo that will make the blu-rays a good deal. Because some of the blu-rays could be had for the same price at other store so I was wondering if anyone had a few movies that would be a good deal in this promo.

So far I am going to get the Girl Next Door since its $15- $5, which is the cheapest I have seen also I may get Freddy vs. Jason as it is $20- $5. Anything else I should know to get?

Edit: Yeah I know I probably asked the same question about 3 times in my post

Thats a good price but I have already seen the movie like 10 times on tv and I don't think it warrents a purchase after I seen it so many times but thanks for the suggestion.

12 Monkeys (blind buy -- love Terry Gilliam flics)

FYI: The official hardcopy list they have in-store is NOT up-to-date! Print off a copy from the web site and take it in or get them to look it up themselves. I had to fight for Towering Inferno because it wasn't on the paper list they had and wasn't stickered.
