Technically no, since it would mean that Paul was dead, that the cancer wasn't in remission (turns out to be that way, anyway, so that wouldn't really matter) and that Adam wouldn't suddenly turn out to be a Christian, and a highly hypocritical at that. But if the writing continues to be the same way, then it wouldn't really matter what happened. Such a shame for a series that had such great writing.
Blu-ray releases should be perfect representations of their cinema counterparts.

This season was a bit of a drag and a chore to get through. I thought they went a bit extreme with the conventions and blog followers which I thought was in the realm of Weeds and totally did not work for this show. The Adam finding religion feels pretty standard and I thought Adam nailing the chick in the ass was all part of a joke on that story in general.
I give the show another season or two and hopefully they ground it a bit. I'd hate to think the show reached it's peak in the second season.

It's really not uncommon for kids (at least in shows) to all of a sudden get religious, or at least question it. |

Now I'm just nervous about it getting renewed. I feel like it probably won't since they're taking so long to announce a renewal, which would be disappointing. |

Me too. Each week that passes after the series finale I think the chances of a fourth season become less and less, which is a shame as the series creator has mentioned that at the shows core she envisioned it as a 4-season show, one TV season per one climate season to track the year of Kathy's life.

Renewed for fourth and final season of 4 1-hour episodes; likely to air later this year!
Despite the really funky episode order (IMO this series should have been an hour long dramedy to begin with), I'm glad Showtime is giving the series a true ending despite season 3's lackluster ratings! |

Whoa so that means the season premier is August 25th... Have they already started filming or something? I was expecting December.
Also, I don't know why but I'm finding a hard time using the word "season" with only 4 episodes (eventhough its the length of 8 normal episodes for this series); I almost want to call it a miniseries. |

I guess so. Wouldn't miniseries only apply if it's one season like Mildred Pierce, Generation Kill, etc? It's technically 8 episodes so I'd say it's a season. At least they're allowing them to end the show instead of canceling it.
I mean, you could always watch half the episode then the other half the following week. |
