unfortunately the listing says fall 2011. the release date is rumored to
be september 6th. i was still hoping for an earlier release date.

I'm getting it no matter when the release date is, like Diesel said, hopefully the full annoucement + extras will be annouced this week.

I'm not pre-ordering. Chances are, the price will drop to around $15 a few weeks after its release.

Videoeta says they have the release date but can't announce it until june 28 so expect more info then. I can't wait for this one, probably one of the best films of the summer and i'm not even that big of a Fast and Furious fan!

Nothing wrong with supporting a well made movie, which Fast Five obviously is. It's easily the highest rated movie of the series by critics.

Why the hell is the price so dam high 27.99 is to dam high for one movie new release or not. Even thou i love the movie i'll wait till the price drops before purchasing.

The movie hasn't even been officially announced yet. Once the release date approaches, the price will drop. Just look at the Incredibles - it's price was like > $40 when it was announced and then it was $24.99 during release week.

if you did you would realize that this is more of an action heist
movie than the previous street racing oriented installments.

Which was exactly my problem with it. That's like going to a Batman film and only seeing him once at the end.
