Default Upcoming BDs: Da Vinci Code, Monster House, Click, Talladega Nights

http://www.homemediaretailing.com/index.cfm?sec_id=2

From the article:

Quote:
On the software side, all new releases from SPHE from here on will arrive day and date for standard DVD and Blu-ray, Feingold said, specifically naming the studio’s current theatrical slate, The Da Vinci Code, Talladega Nights, Monster House and Click.
They've said it before, good to hear that's still the plan. The article also says that Sony's BD player will be out in July. Lots of great quotes and info in that article. No doubt they're touting BD as killing HD DVD again.

What is ICT? VIAO?

And Japan is still planned to be part of Region 1 right? I just hope the Samsung player has a hack available for the DVD portion like all of their regular players do since I own lots of R2s.

ICT is Image Constraint Token. There's a lot of info on this in the General Discussion area.

VIAO is a Sony laptop.

AFAIK, Japan & the USA are both in Region 1 for BDs, though I've never seen anything official on this.

So will the first Bluray movies still come out this month, or is everything pushed back to July now?

The Samsung player is still on schedule for 6/25, as are the 6/20 & 6/27 BDs.
