Agree! I don't care that anyone loves bonus content. I just personally never liked knowing how something was done. Like for instance if they said this was how we made x happen, every time I watched the series I'd be thinking of that and it would kinda ruin the experience, but thats just me

When I first started collecting DVDs, I used to track down the best retailer exclusive bonus discs, until I realized that the content on them was almost always crap. All the good bonus features are either A.) already included in the main release, as seems to be the case here, or B.) Being saved for a double-dip release like with Lord of the Rings. 16 minutes of George R.R. Martin describing the lineage of the different houses? No thanks. All the bonus features I care about are already in the set. |

Mine just showed up today
I'm debating whether or not to watch the 2nd season when it airs and instead wait for it to come out on Blu also. I really liked being able to watch the entire season (had recorded them all on the PVR) over a weekend. I find doing so drew you into the story much more than if you had a week break between each episode...

And plus the comparisons you were making were apples and oranges and for some reason sounded like you got offended.
"It's weird that people are saying Pioneer did something "wrong". Pioneer made the best plasmas on earth and consumers were too cheap to buy them. If anyone did something wrong, it's consumers who almost never fail to choose an inferior product when given a choice." -Gremal

Just got back from Best Buy. They only had Targaryen packaging, which was really disappointing. Oh well, I will get Stark some other time.

It really is. It's absolutely perfect. I wish my Doctor Who seasons looked this spectacular.

This is good to hear. I was able to pick up John Adams for $20, so I only have episode 6 and 7 left before I start Game of Thrones. Glad to hear the PQ is good.

Anyone having any problem with the commentary tracks? I've tried enabling them with the pop-up menu, they say that they're on, there's no commentary. I've enabled them from the main menu, there is still no commentary track. I ejected the disc, connected to the Internet and still the commentaries don't work. I've only checked on disc 1, thus far, but this is really strange and the first time I've ever had a problem playing a commentary track on laser-disc, DVD or blu-ray.
