Took my kid to see this in the theatres. I like the movies. Thought the first one was a little better.

My kids love this series so I'll be picking this up Day 1.

Yes, my daughter loves the book series so the purchase of this is a given.
This one did well at the box office so the next book has got the green light for a movie due next year.

How does this one compare to the first? I thought there were some great laughs in the first one.

I am gonna pick this one up. The first one reminded me so much of when I was a kid and just brought back some good memories. No doubts, I'll enjoy the second one, as well

I thought the first one was better....more laughs. But part 2 is good, don't get me wrong.

I thought the first was much better. The first was more innocent and had a lot of intelligent insights into the mind of a middle schooler. This one had its funny moments, but not many of the intelligent insights. Obviously this one focused on Roderick a lot more and he's just not my favorite character.

My last day will be 6/20, one day before the release. Any experience if Walmart might have this title one day early?

When will this be released? I plan to take 2 weeks off of work around the time this fantastic film comes to Blu Ray. I need to cherish every moment with this movie, I have been planning my vacation days around it. The best movie in 20, wow I would wager to say even 25 years.

Hoping this has another nice slipcover like the first one with the extra pages. Not seen this one yet, but did enjoy the first one.

I really enjoyed the first film, but the second one was just as great. As a parent of two kids, I'm digging the whole middle school thing. A funny family film. Had one of my friend's kid watch it (he'll be starting 6th grade this coming fall) and he had a good laugh over it too. Definitely a recommendation!

My wife and stepdaughter enjoyed the heck out of this in the theater. Hopefully Amazon gets my preorder to me a day early. Bummer if there isn't a slip, though.
